Unfortunately there aren't a lot of guys on the roster that would be a surprise.

There are several guys that are our core guys and would be very surprising and I just dont see anyone in this group getting cut most of them got new deals this off-season too.

After that there isn't really much that would be that shocking.

Changed my mind. Hooper would be a bigger surprise since they just got him. I don’t think he’s a lock for the roster if the new guys show something.

Ryland wouldn't even be a surprise, though. The guy who picked him no longer has a key card to get in the building. Cutting players you didn't hand pick is easy.

He’s better than the rest our backs by a good margin. I’d be beyond surprised.

Ryland wouldn't be a surprise, nor would Thornton, who's done nothing, is in year three, and has no guaranteed salary left.

When the roster is this bad, not many are really safe. Judon would be at the top of my list due to age and coming off an injury. Strange would be the next guy in line. He will be sweating bullets as he's only been marginally average since being drafted. He's been in and out of the line up due to play/injury and now going to miss extensive time. This is a prime opportunity for Layden Robinson, Mafi or Stueber to take his job and kick him off the roster next season. These guys should be smelling blood right now.

Bourne is another guy on my list. If both Baker and Polk show something, he's done. Douglas is the slot guy and the outside will be covered by the draft picks.

I can think of quite a few that would constitute real surprises, Maye or Brissett or Osborn or Judon are examples. But I thought there was an implicit constraint of some chance of it really happening in our universe.

Don’t think some of the posters watch the games. Rhamondre was injured. Strange was injured. Both were starters. Both are on rookie contracts. Both were the best at their positions even when injured. Neither will be cut, unless their injuries don’t heal up. Come on guys don’t suck as posters.

I do believe Rhamondre is extended by this management team.
Re Strange, we have to assume PUP/IR if the patella is correct. that said, prior to injury, the prior management team drafted 3 IOL. the new management team drafted an IOL and signed Leverett. they also extended D Andrews and signed highly thought of UDFA Turner.
all moves indicating they want better IOL play.
