Dont understand this take at all. So he thinks that they cut Milton before training camp? That makes no sense. If that is indeed the plan (which was quoted from Breer and not anyone on the team), then Zappe will be the odd one out.

Yeah I don’t follow the logic… If they intend to cut down to 3 then surely Zappe would be the cut, since Brissett’s deal is mostly guaranteed and he’s a mentor figure anyway. Milton very obviously needs a lot of development and they never would have drafted him if they weren’t willing to give him some time, so cutting him after a couple months makes no sense at all.

That said, cutting Zappe means you’re one play away from Maye seeing the field, so he needs to be ready - and if he’s ready, he may as well be starting. If he’s not ready, you can’t cut Zappe… but then you’re still not gonna cut Milton, are you? So the whole thing doesn’t really add up.

Maye and Polk are attached at the ****ing hip. Almost every clip they’re talking to each other or in each other’s immediate vicinity. Hopefully the start of something special. I don’t think Polk is gonna be an all-world WR1 or something but he can be Maye’s Edelman.

I also like Mayo’s coaching style shown here a lot. He was involved in defense and offense and seemed to be wandering and observing in a somewhat loose manner which is similar to BB, but gave his feedback in a different way. He made some jovial comments but it wasn’t all fun and games and he was critical too. I think it’s a good start, about as good as I could’ve hoped for at this stage.
