There's a story about Bru wanting to change the call and telling Seau to change it but Seau stuck with the call. Could be the other way around.
It's Harrison who told the story. He said he wanted to change the call so he could provide help over the top when he saw the one-on-one mismatch, but Seau chose to stick with the play as called by the coaches.

Plexiglass is trying to make Giants fans feel better about not getting him

We were sitting in that corner I'm a fat guy and I still had this urge before the snap to run on the field and help Hobbs. It was so obvious we had a mismatch.

Good ole' Dean Peas with the call. Harrison didn't like it and told Seau they should get out of it, but Seau wanted to stick with it. I think Harrison said the only reason he didn't stress changing the call was because of the respect/trust he had in Seau.

Only if assante catches that INT....
If only had they caught those many INT's Eli was throwing up. The game was too big for him and was folding like a lawn chair, but kept getting chance after chance to stay in the game. That was the biggest choke in sports history.

Agreed it was. To your point we had ample opportunity to get one from Eli. When you give teams multiple chances it never a good thing.

I thought he shot himself in the ****?

At least that would explain the bitternes.
I remember he shot himself in the leg
Which of his 3 legs I am not sure
