It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Yeah, I mean, they're making money hand over fist, but they'll definitely be out of business in no time.NFL will be out of business at this rate. In no universe is Goff even worth $30M/year. Jesus.
He is not the 20 best if we look at the past 25 years, but he is a top 10 QB - if not higher - over the past 2 years. He will start at 13% then transition to the 15% to 18% range of percentage of salary cap he takes up which is a little high, but not egregiously so for a top 10 QB (I can't be more precise than that because there are conflicting reports regarding how the contract is broken down).Goff isn’t worth that amount of money. I understand the ‘what is the alternative’ and ‘he and Detroit go together’ ….. but we are talking about a good, at times very good player. He’s not in the league of the 20 best QBs of the 2000s.
yes (J)(A)red (G)off$53M a year for Jared Goff?
Exactly and hope at the very least he's like Goff. That said surrounding a young QB with good talent is key. What's the alternative, he's not that great but has a great OC and some talent around him and he does enough with that system.
They don't sign him they lose the contender window.
That's the going rate for a solid, middle of the road QB. They had no choice.
We really need to take advantage of Maye's rookie contract.
