So to set a standard that 3rd round picks should be starters with upside (which means, by definition, better than average starters) is a setup to be disappointed. Very few are starters in their first year.

Yes, a backup RT/LT at PITT is competing to prove that he is worth getting one of the two LT/sing OT rosters spots on a team that had one of the worst Offenses in the NFL and has one of the worst LT situations in the NFL.

To be blunt, we are one of the very worst Offenses in the NFL, with LT as our weakest position.

It would be a bit more constructive to build a team with guys that don't have a bad attitude, can run block, and have played the position before. All valid points to question when the team has over $50M in cap space. We are supposed to feel good because the coaching staff because it is not by BB? AVP did a great job at the Browns that we want to emulate? Getting fired in less than 2 seasons at the Giants is a success story that we need to respect?

Overall let's admit that it is not a very encouraging situation after having the most cap space in the league over 2024 and 2025. Why do we have to wait and see without looking at what the track record of the new individuals involved? Why are you so nervous about discussing previous performance issues?
