Tough kid that's been playing football since he got out the womb. Loves mixing it up and making it a fight from snap one. Experience under Steve Addazio and other tough coaches. Good hands and timing but handling counters could absolutely improve. He's a plus run blocker that shines with gap/power stuff. Takes great angles, very solid steps no wasted movements. He's not a great athlete but understands how important fundamentals - takes care of business at the los before taking off. Easy climber despite not being a great mover. Absolutely needs work in pass pro for sure. Athletes, guys that know how to counter and can move laterally will give him problems. Could definitely stand to get more flexible in his lower. Powerful upper have but lower half hurts him and is a bit stiff. I think he's good depth for a gap/power scheme. Good value. I was on the fence about him tbh but lack of versatility (only played RG) kept him off my list.

Don't hate the pick but doesn't scream what the new regime is seemingly trying to do but we'll see.

Right

Average backup or special teamer
What a steal.

Wolfe has no imagination, boldness or guts.
I was being sarcastic, hope he’s gone after the draft but I doubt it. This is what happens when you lose your identity and go with the bs packer way.

Not the reach Wallace was but still not getting the immediate fit but we'll see. Have to say this isn't much different from what I would expect with Bill. If we're running more zone I don't see the plug/play fit here.

This is a very Belichick like draft so far, l can’t complain because I can’t pretend to know these guys at all, but at the very least they’re drafting for need, just gotta hope they hit

Same. If you told me before the draft they’d go Maye, WR, OL, OL, with the first four picks, I’d take it. I’m hopeful these guys will pan out.

If anything this feels more like they don’t have much faith in Stange, Sow, Mafi…which may be entirely warranted.
I think Mafi is definitely an endangered specie. Sow has to have a second year jump in pass blocking. Strange may be an injury concern. We complained a lot about tackles last year but at the end of the year the interior was a concern.

The bs packer way lol.

Packers have the 3rd most wins since 2000. They have been consistently hitting on WR and franchise QB by the way. I am fine with it.

How many championships in the last 24 years?

SEC player who excelled. Like it. But it’s sad that last year we invested in three interior OLineman. And now this.

P8ryts nailed it. Strange’s injury is now a red flag and Mafi doesn’t have the coaches’ confidence
