Good luck with that, hope it works.
It’s the 3rd round
Do you have a certain player that is a quality starter on the left side that was better than this pick
These are draft picks. They are picked for potential in the 3rd round not blue chip prospects
But if you have a player that is better. Who is it

That comparison isn't promising especially when comparing 2nd round WR.
Remember the Jackson pick was met with excitement on this board. And he bombed. The Polk pick has been met with anger. Maybe the results swing the other way.

How do you know? Other teams have move up in all rounds. Pats can’t for some reason when others can?
It's been reported by multiple sources.
Wah,wah,wah. F'n whiner

Sow looked good at RT in camp, he didn't play at RT in the regular season, they thought it would be smarter to play him sandwiched between two vets and kick Onwenu outside... it was smart at the time considering all the coaching/front office chaos.

I'd put my money on Sow starting on the line over Wallace, Okorafor or any fee agent they've brought in.

Sow is the most interesting case for them looking ahead at the 2024 OL. With Onwenu hurt to start 2023, I think they figured Rieff would be their RT and Sow would fill in at RG until Big Mike was ready to go. When Rieff turned out to be unplayable and Anderson was too ill, they pretty much had to try Sow at RT. Them trading for Wheatley and Lowe at the end of the preseason was a sign that they knew Rieff was toast and those two at OT with Sow at guard was as good as they could do, especially with Strange injured and Brown his usual unreliable self. Sow played well enough at guard to convince them he should stay there, especially with Wheatley “injured” all year, Anderson too ill, etc. it was just a complete ****storm from the time Klemm came onboard and their personnel staff made one error after the other bringing in Rieff, not drafting an OT, thinking Lowe and Wheatley could perform.

I think Sow can play OT in a pinch but would be a better LG than Strange. That’s where I hope he winds up. As for Strange, I think he should be a center but don’t know if he has the head for it. He’s got talent but I think Sow is the better player already.

Frank Crum at tackle, probably 5-6 guys left who will be better at WR than Polk taken afterwards.

Should have taken one of the better OT's available in the second round, then you wouldn't have to reach for one in the third because there was a run on tackles.

True fact Drew was considered for the Favre role
The Farrelys are from RI and wanted drew because they’re huge pats fans, but he couldn’t or wouldn’t do it, if I remember correctly.

That was painful to listen to.

Sow is a bad example....he was a guard all through college but, for some reason, BB thought he could play tackle even though he was built like a guard.

Nice draft on paper for Tampa

Sow won the RT job out of camp, then there was an injuries that required him to move inside, then he got concussed. When he came back Onwenu was moved outside. I think there's a better possibility Sow starts than Okorafor or this Wallace kid... regardless of where. he started the last 11 games on the season, he and Onwenu played really well on the right side.

Unless Sow spent the entire offseason eating doughnuts and resting on his laurels is the only way he loses his starting spot. If Okorafor starts it will likely be due to some favoritism BS by the staff because he's one of "their guys," and they will be worse off because of it.

He played tackle in college before moving to guard. He's built like a guard... in what way?

Similar length to Wallace, better athlete, he benched and was clearly strong. I don't see it.

Wow, Ian Rapoport’s report on Payton Wilson’s injuries make Michael Penix and Dominique Easley look like iron men.

Well, that’s not how I was hoping the draft would go for WR or OT, but hopefully they’re better than advertised.

Now that those positions of absolute need are out of the way, I’m curious to see what comes next.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong...it's Friday and I just emptied the wine bottle.
