I was going back and forth with Maye and JJ
Maye has been mocked at the Top of the draft for a year or so.
He does not seem to be a late riser and possible reach

But what do I know

Yeah, of course, the 2025 first is likely a 2nd round talent based on next years weak draft
They would need to use 11 or 23 on a QB, so we basically get one extra non blue-chip guy and a 50-50 shot on a starting caliber player in 2025 and a lesser QB prospect this year that historically would be a bust or.....
a franchise QB for the next 15 years. Celebrate away.
I still can't 100% believe Washington will take Daniels over Maye until it actually happens.

Drafts are difficult. MJ was bypassed in the NBA in the 80s. Brady, LT, Rice…. So many all time greats weren’t first off the board. The P Mannings and LeBrons are the exception.

We have no idea who (if any) of the top three or four QBs will be a star. Just hoping things fall into place for NE.

I am wondering if all of the talk about how the Pats are “open for business”, they like 6 QBs, they’ll trade down if Daniels isn’t there, they love JJ, Mayo’s comments about Maye’s low floor, etc… was just a long term smokescreen to keep other teams from realizing they are Maye lovers and to keep Washington locked in on Daniels.
