We'll see. The hope is that he is the blocking TE and STer that he has been.

Basically, we pay a small signing bonus for a camp body who, with 4 years in the NFL, might be good enough to compete for a spot on our 53 or Practice Squad.

Personally, I Iike signings like this. We needed a #3 blocking TE. And, obviously, he needs to be a regular STer or he would never be active.

Now, we know who a draftee in the 5th or 6th would be competing with.
