It starts in 90 minutes. What are you hoping to hear and what did you hear? For me personally, I want to hear realism from the team. It's okay to be 2-3 years away from having a talented offense. Own that. The worst thing would be quick fixes and pretending we're just a couple of pieces away when we're obviously not

I want to hear a plan on building a front office and a coaching staff.

Besides that, I just want to get a better feel for what kind of person Jerod will be as the new figurehead of the Patriots. He probably won't be exactly the same guy he was as a player or as a linebackers coach.

He's not in charge of the FO so he won't speak to that. He's in the interview process for coaches so he won't speak to that either.

I know it's a new era but don't expect wholesale changes to how the Pats deal with the media.

We need to get used to the head coach NOT being in charge of the front office.

The Kraft's may or may not make a promotion in the front office. I would think that they are waiting to see who Bill takes with him. For now, it is Wolfe as the head of that side of the organization (per Curren).

At this point I don't think there's anything he can say that will make me go, "Phew, I'm 100% sold!", because there's just so much left to DO. And what he does will be more important. But I just want to start getting a sense for what he'll be like as a head coach, how he handles the media, and see whether anyone in the media tries to "test" him with questions that they normally would get a non-answer from Bill on. I always appreciated the grump that Belichick was (while we were winning at least), but it would be a nice change of pace if Mayo is a bit more personable.

Also, I'm hoping just to see Mayo be excited for this opportunity. He's earned it, and everyone around him seems to be excited, so it'll just be nice to see him bask in the moment a bit.

Sweet! Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the presser.

All I need from Mayo is the definitive word on whether it was more Brady or more Belichick.

"That's a tough question, really... but I'd have to say... NEITHER of them. Greatest Show was cheated because they taped their practices, Panthers were a mickey mouse franchise, Eagles literally puked on the moment, Pete should have run the ball with Lynch, Shanahan should have called three straight runs and kicked the field goal, and McVay was 14 years old in Super Bowl 53. Luckiest duo in history. I'm gonna coach circles around either of those clowns."

Don't think you will hear much out of him.
You will hear his Thanks to the Kraft's, positive outlook for the future, going to work hard blah blah blah

We know someone is gonna ask him about Mac Jones. Lol

Here is a trivia question:

What do Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Robert Kraft, Tommy Tutone, and Norman Greenbaum all have in common?
