He sure did. Must be nice to have the future HC as the coach. Never even crossed my mind he would go to the media.Like Curran or not he nailed this one.

I mean, certainly some familiar names will be here, who knows how many coaches he knows outside of New England, or who had come from New England.I hope this is accurate.
Not just 'went to the media', has 'been going to the media' since at least his 'heir apparent' dog and pony show Kraft did last year.If Mayo went to the media that’s a ***** move.
I want a league wide GM and HC search until something is announced I’m going to assume the full search will commence.I mean, certainly some familiar names will be here, who knows how many coaches he knows outside of New England, or who had come from New England.
You won't get it. They're going to hire Mayo before they hire a GM - something that always works well in NFL history, although you'll probably get your league-wide search on GMs. I think the current crop of personnel guys gets blown out by Kraft while the coaching staff gets blown out by Mayon, and then they get their GM...when the coaching staff is already in place. I do hope they get one before FA starts.I want a league wide GM and HC search until something is announced I’m going to assume the full search will commence.
There’s no emoji for this. You won't get it. That's how the whole Insider thing works.Someone from inside the organization is leaking to Curran. Its Mayo’s job to lose
Get used to it. Curran's isn't the only agenda in town. They did that because nobody loses graciously. Now people are just making up stuff on Mayo to lash out.
If you take away the PR fluff about how great and smart he is (unproven) and playing career Jerod Mayo has proven the same amount as a football coach as Steve Belichick which is he can run what Bill tells him defensively.
If Groh is the GM and McD or BOB is the OC this isn't change, this is just the same old crap of the past 4 years with a rebranding and a guy who will listen to Kraft more.
Where is the new offensive identity we clearly need going to come from?
More insular thinking with a coach who hasn't coached or played outside of New England.
Mayo fed him the information based on a contract that Mayo signed. He's Mayo's mouthpiece. He’s been pretty spot on about this situation
The most likely GM is Wolfe.I do hope they get one before FA starts.
The 3 best HC candidates are all defensive guys: Vrabel,Mayo and Flores.
So get a quality OC and GM like you said and the defense will remain very good.
Flores is the best defensive coach of the 3. He came up under Bill but he's more aggressive. He's a smart guy and I think he's learned from his mistakes just like Bill did. Brian was a bit too much of a hardass, just like Bill was in Cleveland.
Not saying he's gonna be the equal to the GOAT HC but I think he could become one of the best in the NFL.
That's not foreboding at all.The most likely GM is Wolfe.
Yes, the Kraft's are having an evaluation and will interview alternatives as thy deem necessary. My choice, as I have said, is Pioi. If necessary, we should hire a consultant until the GM search and search for other positions is complete. Josh can come onboard to go with Bill.
IMO, the solution will resolve itself before free agency. Either the Kraft's will bring in a GM or they won't. IMO, BOB and Mayo are capable of making decisions, subject to approval from the Kraft's.
He was also the first to report that Bill was going to get let go. Obviously his sources go beyond just Mayo.Mayo fed him the information based on a contract that Mayo signed. He's Mayo's mouthpiece.
Spot on? Yeah.
A b1tch? Definitely.
How was Mayo getting inserted without BB being let go or mutual parting or whateverTF?He was also the first to report that Bill was going to get let go. Obviously his sources go beyond just Mayo.
