Vrabel fired in TN!

I’d also like to add that I absolutely hate the Rooney rule. Let’s say that Kraft does let BB go. Well now he has to go through a handful of sham interviews just to hire the guy everyone knows he’s gonna hire. There really is no point in Kraft announcing anything on BB until the season is over. Unless he wants to do him a favor (which he should) and let him get lined up for interviews. We’re talking at least 3 weeks possibly before knowing what the front office and hc situation is going to look like in New England.

Them winning a Playoffs game and better Drafting overall its not that hard. The Titans are making a Big Mistake here jump on it RK!!

Except Vrabel isn't the GM there. And if he had the bulk of the say in personnel decisions, then he's also the one who traded away AJ Brown. And since winning that playoff game, they've gotten worse.

I'm not opposed to Vrabel as a coach, but there is NOT more talent on that Titans roster than on the Patriots, they were also bad this year, and Vrabel's not the guy picking the players anyway.

Just a theory I thought about…

If we hire Flo back as our DC, and Mayo get hired to go elsewhere, can we get two 3rd rounders?

Kraft needs to stop wasting time and make a damn move. Right now it's all sentimental with Kraft. Bill is 71 and keeping around will not make the Patriots any better. Bill is 71 & stubborn. Move on, sign Vrabel who's 48 and draft a QB so the two can grow together. The Krafts are just delaying the inevitable.

All signs are pointing to BB staying. I doubt Vrabel becoming available changes anything. If you were that in love with Vrabel then why didn’t you let BB go and trade for him? We’re talking about the CEO of your franchise here. Then again, I’m easily swayed by all of the leaks and stories, so what they **** do I know? What I do know is One Patriot Place currently has a lot of dysfunction and by the time they make decisions, I hope it is clearly sorted out.

I think all signs points to Belichick going TBH. Even Mike Reiss said today that it is an extreme longshot that Belichick stays. And Reiss is usually pretty plugged into which way it is going. He did say inside the building everyone is in a malaise because they don't know their future right now. So people in the building think Belichick is gone.

I think the stars are aligned in this scenario Varbel is seasoned.

No. Mayo doesn’t have an official title that would qualify as compensation.

That's what I'm saying.

Oh, really? I haven’t seen any updates other than the McDaniels situation from the Athletic. I wasn’t aware Reiss was putting out anything new. Thanks for the heads up.

Like others said not my preference but you can do ALOT worse than vrabel. I definitely think he’s capable of winning a sb with a top 10 qb and good roster around him if we can achieve that in a couple years.

The plus to vrabel is I think we’d keep the current defense in place which would cut our rebuild task in half if we can just work on offense.
We are not, are not, are not revamping the Defense. Mayo would continue or Steve. One of them would be made DC.

Let's see Vrabel and HC - McDaniels and OC plus a New GM I can accept that.

Who is? Not a criticism, just curious. Other than Harbaugh, he’s clearly the most accomplished of the potential candidates. There’s a lot to like with Vrabel and maybe he could convince Arthur Smith to return as his OC.
Harbaugh is my top choice. I don't know who else is in the mix. If it's not Harbaugh then it would be a HC and GM (2 people)

I don't know if I am on board with Vrabel as head coach. He was never given a real QB, but he ran the Titans a little too old school for my preference.
