BB has NOT adapted to the New NFL on the Offensive side of the Ball that's not hard to see.So on what are you basing your belief there will be a better coach here than Belichick?
16 offensive picks over the last 3 years, only 11 defensive. FA/trades: 4 WRs with decent sized contracts, 3 TEs.
Criticize him for the people he brought in, but not the effort. They've expended a lot of draft resources and FA/trades on bringing people in.
So who else do you like?I was incredibly impressed with him the first time I heard him speak.
Then when the Browns hired him I was like they got a amazing coach, motivator, strategist.
That’s the trifecta.
Ben Johnson, Mike McDonald, maybe the closest to this.
I remember on this board how much I said I was a fan of the McDaniel hiring for the Dolphins and everyone laughed about the hire.
I know a Wizard when I see one.

On Offense going forward you think we can keep with the 49ers and Dolphins of the NFL Offensively?? We are absolutely Pathetic on Offense the stats don't lie.So on what are you basing your belief there will be a better coach here than Belichick?
Brady was special. He was a unicorn. The closest we have seen to him since is Patrick Mahomes and we are seeing first hand what happens when you strip even the most special quarterbacks of talented guys around him.I think the way Bill looked at he was waiting for Mac to show something worthy of investing in and it never did the kid just kept getting worse.
And I think from there it gets really hard to hide all your other problems without a functional Q.
Bill was excellent at that through the years but obviously an easier task when you have Brady. I believe if he has a QB he can get back to doing his thing.
I can't wait for his comeback. Before they got Diggs there definitely was talk of whether he was the guy.

Bill's formula needs to be changed. Juju Smith-Schuster, Devante Parker, Kendrick Bourne, Tyquan Thornton, Demario Douglas, and Keyshon Boutte around a young quarterback entering his third year is not going to work. The formula for a young quarterback is to already have a guy in place:
Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen and Mike Williams
Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill
Deshaun Watson and Deandre Hopkins
Or go out and get a guy via the draft or trade:
Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins
Tua and Tyreek Hill and Waddle
Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs
Trevor Lawrence and Christian Kirk and Calvin Ridley
Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith and AJ Brown
And even to some extent Justin Fields and DJ Moore
You can't sit around and wait for your young QB to turn chickensh*t into chicken salad. I know Bill refuses to invest in wide receiver but this isn't 2002 anymore. You need to get your quarterback premium guys to throw to and stop bargain hunting.
It's not that hard:Maybe Mayo who knows I want a young innovative buck over an old fart it's not that hard.
So you don't think the next coach could win more than 4 games in his 4th year here?So on what are you basing your belief there will be a better coach here than Belichick?
Amazing how this never comes up. HC in the NFL is like a 16 hour job daily and nobody ever stops to say how can a 70 year old do that?Too many of the decision makers are much too old and out of touch.
That is about the US government.
And also the Patriots. We are talking about someone firing someone and their total age is 153. It's ridiculous in every way. Put away your ****ing egos and step aside.
BB Black Monday can't come soon enough for me. We won it all many times I will settle now for a competent competitive Team and GM.It's not that hard:
Marv Levy the old fart left, was replaced by: Wade Phillips, Mike Mularkey, Gregg Williams, **** Jauron, Chan Gailey, Doug Marrone, Rex Ryan, Sean McDermott (didn't win a AFC CG).
Don Shula the old fart left, was replaced by: Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, Nick Saban, Cam Cameron, Tony Sparano, Joe Philbin, Adam Gase, Brian Flores, Mike McDaniel (didn't win an AFC CG)
Bill Parcells the old fart left, was replaced by: Al Groh, Rich Kotite, Herman Edwards, Eric Mangini, Rex Ryan, Todd Bowles, Adam Gase, Robert Saleh (didn't win an AFC CG).
25 coaches replaced 3 old farts and not a single one of them managed to win a Championship game.
So you don't think the next coach could win more than 4 games in his 4th year here?
I don’t think he’s waffling. I think Kraft’s waiting for the season to end. I have a feeling they’ll have the “Bill’s future” discussion shortly after the season’s over…like within a few days. I can’t see the Krafts dragging this out.honestly the longer Kraft doesn't talk to bill hes coming back IMO. they might sell bill on preparing for the "transition" and starting to delegate duties such as GM etc. McDaniels is probably back in an offensive role.
but I think Kraft is waffling here. and as long as the team fights the last few games Kraft will be too scared to fire him and watch him succeed elsewhere.
Unbelievable revisionist history here. The guy was called a bust by not just lots of people on here his first 2 years but some in the national media as well. I remember after the game against us his second year when he threw 3 picks against us and looked lost everyone laughing and mocking him.You have a link for this? I live in Buffalo. Allen is almost never criticized here, and never has been.
Nope, not in Buffalo. His second year he showed a clear trajectory upward. Before they got Diggs there definitely was talk of whether he was the guy.
No one said he went all in. Don't twist things.I like how people saying Bill went all in on the offense. Eagles traded for Brown, Miami traded for hill.
Bill offered Hopkins a low salary incentive laden deal and signed retreads like juju/parker.
Somehow patriots fans spent years watching moss, welker, gronk, Edelman and are trying to now sell that Parker/juju/bourne is equivalent.
It’s either blind defense of bill or pure delusion
