It's easy, and only takes a few moments. He's so negative that he hates Captain Stone for being so negative.@archstanton543 what don't you agree with? I am so no committal with my thought process on him it's ridiculous. I could be a politician with it.
What are you going to do if Kraft keeps him?#7MoreDays
So Robert Salah is on his way to having his 3rd straight season with at least 10 losses with the Jets. The Jets have already announced he and the Douglas are returning for 2024. Bill has at least made the playoffs within the last 3 years. It would be a terrible look for Bob to fire Bill.
This draft position and massive cap room will set this team up for the next 4 years...
- whether it's a continued bottom-dweller, or a resurgence to conference competitor
Who is best suited to handle all that personnel acquisition?
It's a tough call. BB did it so well for so long. Is the issue with the last 5 years bad luck, or a loss of pulse?
Defense is strong, high position in the draft, lots of cap space, lots of expiring contracts. Opportunity to rebuild offense. Do we trust Bill to do that?
Nobody has had better experience doing it.

I'm not blind and I see some of the personnel issues and I think it's fair to question it.This draft position and massive cap room will set this team up for the next 4 years...

I always gave BB the benefit of the doubt as a coach until the Patricia and Judge fiasco last season. Now I don’t. Appreciate what he’s done but it’s time for a change.
And if Kraft parts ways with Bill and he goes to a new team and they win it all that’s still more forgivable and understandable to me than what they did to Brady. Kraft probably won’t need to worry that much about perception. IMO.
Yep. Me too.I'll believe it when I see it, but right now I don't think Bill is going anywhere. I have no basis or fact to back this up, just a gut feeling.
Yep. Me too.
I think Kraft is going to look at how things ended with Brady and will not want something similar to happen to BB. Its probably not the right decision but it's the one that will be made (hopefully with some big time concessions on personnel by BB).
I question that. This hasn’t been a fundamentally sound team the last two years and things that used to be his bread and butter like special teams took a nosedive.I'm not blind and I see some of the personnel issues and I think it's fair to question it.
But what I don't question is that once acquired Bill is still as good as anyone to coach it.
I have rose colored glasses but the way I see it is I don't really question his ability to evaluate pro talent so I'm less worried about him spending free agent dollars. I do have some concerns over his drafting like anyone else but I am just assuming our first pick is going to be QB and I do trust his QB evaluations so that just leaves picks in rounds 2-7 and continuing to mess those up will hurt but not anything that should set the next guy back any further than we already are.
You have to consider the market too. The New England fanbase id conditioned by the “In Bill We Trust” mantra. That doesn’t exist anywhere else. He got a lot of slack the last few years that he won’t get somewhere else. Questionable draft decisions won’t be innocent until proven guilty. Players not buying into the old model isn’t going to lead to fans crying about them being malcontents.Part 2 -
If the fear is that BB could go somewhere else and lead some other team to the top...
The chances are FAR greater that no other team's players/office will respond to his archaic coaching/management style. I believe the chances of BB going to a new team (CAR, LAC, WAS, CHI) and winning a SB in the next 3 years is 1/1000.
