Yeah to me this is no different than a player being fast in loose in their positioning on the line or trying to strategically hide that they are interferring with the receiver or trying to get away with a hold by using some tricks of the trade. The refs have to see that.In plain view of the refs so it's absolutely gamesmanship. It's on the refs to notice and throw the flag.

Is it offsides based on the ball or the marker? If it’s the marker, several of the oline were offsides….giving them an advantage getting off the line quicker…I don't really know how much it affects anything since the marker stays in the same place. What would the call be if that was flagged? Illegal motion?
