OT: Eagles Cheating?

Kelce imitating Messi

"Gamesmanship" begins at the 25 second mark

I've seen that in the past in games but never thought it was a big deal because it was never called. I'm going to watch for it going forward though.

In plain view of the refs so it's absolutely gamesmanship. It's on the refs to notice and throw the flag.

How the hell did this slope I’m on get so slippery? Someone go wake up Anderson and call the strip club and tell them to send Vincent back to the office!
- R. Stokoe Goodell

Cheating is a trigger word used a lot around Pats fans to illicit an emotional response. I think this is quite common, IMO. Gamesmanship 100%.

Yeah to me this is no different than a player being fast in loose in their positioning on the line or trying to strategically hide that they are interferring with the receiver or trying to get away with a hold by using some tricks of the trade. The refs have to see that.

Meh. Pete Brock did the same thing.
That was then, this is now...

Hang the bastard by his cleats

I don't really know how much it affects anything since the marker stays in the same place. But it's nice to see another franchise getting a bit of nonsense thrown their way given what we've seen here the last two decades.
Is it offsides based on the ball or the marker? If it’s the marker, several of the oline were offsides….giving them an advantage getting off the line quicker…

Not a big deal

What would the call be if that was flagged? Illegal motion?

To me, cheating would be putting in fake noise to disrupt an offense. Or, doing what the Broncos did decades ago with the salary cap.

It's not the Eagles/Kelce responsibility to not do this. It's the refs role to notice it.

Any team can do this. Once they get caught, they will simply be told not to do it.
