Kraft on Game Day

Way more posters than there are giving Bill zero credit.

Didn't you make the terrible posters list for failing to appeal to tradition? Please remember to always give credit to Bill in every post you make because otherwise you will be labeled a terrible poster and a f'n loser.

Wonder if there can be flair added to such posters?

That was ****ing weird. McAfee is getting getting too comfortable. One of these days he will do something that will cost him dearly. That was stupid and wrong setting to try and get some clicks. Not sure Kraft even knew what he was saying.
Kraft knew what MacAfee was referring to. Its all over the web and popping up when I log on.

Firing, trading or allowing BB to leave.

Thats why Kraft shook his head and walked away.

My standard is comptency. Which we haven't had this year in all 3 phases aside from defense only when we play mediocre teams. The defense is playing well against bad teams. When nobody was injured and we played good teams, our opponents were scoring on us. The offense even without Mac Jones just played two games against 2 of the bottom 3 defenses on our schedule and were shut out for 6 out of 8 quarters. That's not a fixed offense.

You also aren't addressing all the typical mistakes and penalties that Bill Belichick teams weren't known for making. Or how long he refused to play Douglas..

This is 100% Bill's product.
Can't draft 'em
Can't coach 'em up
Spends Sundays yelling at clouds (followed by petulant post-game pressers)

On the plus side.......

Still can cash massive paychecks
Still capable of going Full Rain Man
"We're onto to Cincinnati, to Cincinnati."
"Gotta get my hoodie at KMart, at KMart"

2021 gave us hope that the team was back in contention post brady after we l know a transition year without brady.
2021 was a fraud and joke like Corky Jones.

What kind of hope did you have when Corky only attempted 3 passes in the Buffalo NY 40 mph wind?

Corky excelled at beating up lousy franchises like the Jets, Browns and Jags. There are dozen's of first year NFL QBs just like Corky who look amazing. NFL teams have no film on the first season Corkys except for college which is of little help.
Since then it's progressively worse since the playoff blowout against the bills.
It sure has. Nothing destroys a team like a terrible QB.
You could be right it's hard to envision him here for another rebuild. It's telling that Kraft didn't give an answer when Pat made the comment. Alot of times.. it's more if what people don't say as opposed to what they do say.
If Kraft gets rid of BB it will be the biggest mistake of his life.

It’s not all Mac, but Zappe has shown more poise and pocket awareness.
But yes the lack of a back who can run routes a stud number 1 receiver and a slot beast holds this offense back from holding the offense back
Montgomery was supposed to be that guy.

We were 9-3 and the 1 seed in 2021 heading into the Bye. It all all went down hill from there.

The more the season goes on I'm leaning towards Bill being back. Do you have faith he can clean up this mess or is it all Mac's fault too?

Actually, if Kraft had given a strong endorsement of Belichick, then I would have assumed that BB was gone. That's the way it usually works in the NFL.
True. Sometime people say things that take you off guard when your on the air. Then again Kraft is in his 80s LOL

Is it true that since Brady left, Kraft has been right with the purse strings? It sure looks that way.
This league has a salary cap and teams are mandated to spend a certain percentage of it. He can't not.

I'm fine w/ dropping games early. However, since 2019, Bill's team has a losing record in Dec-Jan. Team's been consistently bad at the end of the season for 5 in a row. That's w/ Brady, Cam, and Mac. That has to be on Bill.
The Pats used to start slow and get better. Now they start and finish slow. Of course it's on Bill.

Really? Care to name them? What poster on here wasn’t giving Brady credit?
This has been a classic cope on this forum since Brady’s 7th. Deny things ever happened (like deranged levels of Brady hate) after the fact, then walk back the goal posts. A prominent narrative was, and has been, that Belichick the genius could plug any competent quarterback into Brady’s spot and hang another few banners.

Reports have emerged even stating Belichick and his inner regime believed this. There were arguments over it all through out Tom’s first year in Tampa on this forum, complete with “LOL Brady didn’t even know what down it was and rumors are someone in the locker room said he doesn’t have Belichick here to save him anymore LOL!”

Delight, delight, delight.
Post after post after post after post.
Then Tampa Bay won it all, bumping Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes.

Now it was “both of them.” How convenient.

Coincidentally, the bulk of the same people told us repeatedly Mac was a future star, then walked it back to him not having a great enough supporting cast, then walked it back to him “getting sabotaged and ruined.”

We’ve established a standard method of operation. You must be brand new.

The age doesn't matter. I had an aunt who was in her late 90's and was still as sharp as a tack. She passed at 102.

Kraft at 80 seems to still have his wits about him but I know of men at 80 who don't.

If not for the anti Brady crowd here Ian wouldn't have been forced to create a separate thread for the greatest player who ever played the most important position in the game. We were told at the time that it was because 8 members complained.

The last sentence makes it sound like you’re saying Belichick conjured and created Brady, which is insulting to Tom.

Anyway, Bruce Arians was 2/2 Championship Games with Tom and 1/2 Super Bowl rings. He was one blown defensive coverage from going 2/2 Super Bowls. This with a Tom deep in his 40’s. I don’t give Belichick zero credit, but if you’re not giving the quarterback the lion’s share you’re doing it wrong.

Belichick cost us a couple of rings maybe Bruce Arians wouldn’t have. His SB percentage with Tom is actually better than Belichick’s. I don’t say this to make any other point than that claiming Belichick deserves as much credit as Brady when even numerous ex-players will tell you otherwise is ridiculous.

Brady is the one leading the team. Brady is the one making the throws. Brady is the one making the other team scared.
What happened? I remember when it was the players who everyone paid to see that got the credit. After all, they're actually out on the field putting their bodies on the line and giving us those thrills. Did the boob tube turn people into coach worshippers instead? Now it seems like we see the coaches more than most of the players during games.

Kraft can't be expected to comment about his 3-10 HC on a sports talk show, can he?

Well it was a college football show centered on the Army-Navy game.

It was the perfect match.
Again, Brady could have made multiple coaches “the greatest of all time.” If he had Arians for 20 years, people would be calling that the “perfect match”, too.

Thanks. I didn't see it.

Want to take a guess on what direction Kraft is going? I've gone around full circle on it.
I started by believing Bill was coming back.
Then the mediots had me thinking there might be a rift between them.
But then I thought they were together and may have worked out a deal for Bill to leave.
And now I'm back to believing he'll be back.

I guess I'll just have to wait and see. My first choice would be to have Bill stay as the DC and work with his kids while Kraft brings in a new GM and OC. We all know that isn't happening because Bill needs to keep the HC title for the record books.
