Dear baby Jesus,

All I want for Christmas is another game winning interception vs Wilson.
Question is whether it's worth it.

Denver isn't winning the SB whether they make the postseason or not

Better QB play just fixed it…. we literally just watched it happen. He won with 3 WR’s active…
"He won tonight. Therefore, he would've won 6 other times."

The state of you mfs tonight lol

Zappe has the poise to play the position that Mac has never had, from what i’ve seen. But his arm looks even weaker than Mac’s, and his accuracy isn’t 100%. To me, he looks like a competent career backup QB that won’t mess things up with a talented team while the starter is injured. But we’ll see, maybe he can improve, maybe the pressure eventually gets to him and breaks him.

It think this is a solid take. Zappe has legit backup QB written all over him. He doesn't have the physical skills to be a starting QB, but the poise and decision making, when he has enough reps, are solid. You can tell he's still adjusting to the speed of the game, this being his 4th start.

Mac on the other hand, looks like he doesn't even have the poise and decision making of a backup QB on top of having an even weaker arm than Zappe.

We’ll see what happens going forward. They were a better team with a healthy Bourne, Douglas and Trent Brown.

8th best D in the NFL.

Again one game..what does that do? Mac had a comeback against a better team and still sucks.

As Parcells would say.."she did ok, but let's not put him in Canton just yet.."

It’s very obvious that the offensive players wanted Zappe over Mac for a long time now. JuJu had his best game of the season, as did Henry. Even Thornton wasn’t totally invisible. It wasn’t anything amazing but those guys are suddenly looking rather competent, for one game at least.

After a near full season of being insufferable with Mac Jones support and throwing the rest of the offense under the bus for said Mac Jones support, now Mac Jones fan boys will become insufferable for a new reason— Zappe hate and whining about draft position we were only in a position to get because their quarterback of choice put us there.

Just astonishing.

I said that already…

But did I mention it was a win on the road?

Pats defense is very good period. Lots of very solid players...no superstars without Judon. Next year they may be a top 3 defense
Good things to come out of winning the game; good for team morale, good for Zappe's confidence, good for OL's confidence. Probbaly a huge relief for BB and BoB
very impressed with Elliott and Jennings

Games which they are likely to win: Jets
Games which the might win; Broncos
Games which they should lose; Chiefs, Bills

probable final record 4-13 or 5-12

They really need that top 3 pick for franchise QB, although they still possibly could trade up if they have to
I am concerned that Jets may wind up with a better pick and could choose a QB. The Bears and Cardinals could both choose a QB.
If they do not get Caleb or Drake...there are no sure fire franchise QB's left and perhaps they wind up with one of the two OT's.

I fail to see the point? It could of been during a earthquake. The sentiment remains the same...

That is 90% of the difference
great game by Zappe tonight. But I do not think he has a stronger arm than Mac.
Arm strength is Zappe's biggest weakness with height a close second

Looks like Zappe will be the starting QB for the remainder of this season after tonight.

so, going into camp next preseason, wha5 does the QB room look like? Is Mac still here? Is it Zappe, Jones, rookie, FA vet? Is it Zappe's job to lose, or an open competition? One thing I’d expect is that if it is an open competition ties would go to Zappe even if the other contender is a high first round draft pick.

It was SUPER obvious to everyone but the willfully blind and delusional that the team basically hated Mac Jones after the Jets defense started throwing him around after the whistle and the entire Patriot offense pretended they didn’t see anything and ignored it. Massive red flag I still don’t understand how people here tried to argue.
