Yeah, Ian isn't ignoring anything. I've been pretty vocal about that situation for the last month as soon as things started getting real. My issue has always been don't make an assumption about the season in September and at least give things time to play out. Obviously, that's happened, and I don't know how you can't look at this team and not realize there are issues. I think most people fall into that category.

More comprehensively you cannot look at this organization and not realize there are issues.

I defended attacks on Ian's character. I didn't need to know the reason why Kontra was banned to know Ian didn't ban him because of petty BS as people claimed. And you know what? Kontra's ban was justified. What he posted was totally inappropriate and gross.

I wasn’t able to watch yesterdays game and I’m just rooting for a complete tank-job now.

That said, not throwing interceptions and pick-sixes is a dramatic improvement. Zappe should have started the season even if it’s because bad is better than ****ing-abysmal.

That was apparently a hot-take and all of Mac’s ball washers wanted to jump down everyone’s throats it, and will now rationalize why starting Mac was the right choice even though it wasn’t.

I think I said that earlier in the year before he came on at the end of the season. I said he was too inconsistent for about 2/3 of the season. But I don't remember what I posted four years ago. I probably did at some point that season.

Yeah, so Tom wasn’t a top 5 QB that year he switched to a new team and lead them to a Superbowl with no training camp, but let’s wash Mac Jones balls for a few more years because his back foot interception panic throws are all Matt Patricia’s fault.

Patricia was a disaster. That doesn't change just because this team is an even bigger disaster than last year. Patricia didn't know how to run an offense. If he had this team (Mac Jones included), what we have been seeing this year would look like the 2007 Patriots.

But you blamed everything on Mac Jones. You were the one who was glaringly wrong. This team didn't even get into red zone yesterday. Not once. Didn't score a point. Against the worst team in the NFL. And Mac Jones didn't sniff the field. Yesterday proved, it wasn't all Mac Jones' fault as you wanted to blame him.

Zero people saw that coming. And even as bad as last year was, he’s never been that bad, so there was no reason to believe he would completely implode.

Again, people, that supported Mac, myself included, did it because the alternative, ie QB purgatory, is a bad place to be. People confuse supporting Mac with being satisfied with their quarterback situation. That wasn’t the case, the goal was to have someone serviceable so they could at least have a placeholder to be able to draft other guys and hopefully find an elite player at some point, while being competitive, in the meantime.

Those applauding his failure are now going to have to suffer just like the rest of us while we now root for Zappe to hopefully do the same thing. And it’s in our best interest to hope he can potentially develop into something in the off chance the next person competing with him doesn’t pan out , whether that’s a draft pick or a veteran.
