Morgan Cox? This announcer man... his last name is clearly Fox. Something else on his mind? I also noticed his "aaand complete" call sounds like "incomplete".

OLine just opened up to let the Chargers defender run through to make the tackle......wow

Meyers has 600 yds and 6 TD so far this season. Why did we not resign him again?
Malfunction with our normally flawless WR prediction model?
I don't know...go back and watch last week's game. Ball came out flat and with not a lot on it a few times, and I came out of that one understanding why they hadn't started him. I think his throwing coach messed him up, at least from how he looked last year. Fortunately, he's been better today, which is good to see.

The biggest difference is that the ball is coming out faster, which is the reason for the success he's had so far today. Even with the drops, he hasn't been terrible. He's done a good job.
13 passing yards for 0 first downs. Might need more…

you are not objective when talking zappe

he argued 31 teams passed on zappe as an argument against him
well this happens all the time
Also a significant difference between not drafting someone and picking up a guy on waivers. Both happen all the time but the latter happens for a very different reason than the former.

Let’s stop the comparisons to Brady those are just silly

So F’ing predictable….. come on Bob… What do we have to lose ? Play action!!

Zappe doesn't panic in the pocket like Mac. He has at the very least some poise. Arm talent wise, on par with Mac.
I think these are indeed the respects in which Zappe is a better qb than Mac, or at least than the current dismal iteration of Mac. I still think Mac has more upside than Zappe, but "upside" pertains to potential. At the level of the actual, Zappe is at present the better player. To some extent this is Mac's fault; to some extent it is not.

It's entirely possible of course, maybe even likely, that though Zappe is "better," he too kinda stinks. We ass, indeed.

I remember watching Mac quite a bit at Alabama and I swear his arm was stronger than… Don’t know what changed? Maybe he has some shoulder issue… Or he’s just afraid to throw it
He had a clean pocket at all times, mostly threw between the hashes driving the ball forward, and had an absolute murderers row of skill players to pick from on every snap. Zappe would have looked great at Bama that year…as would nearly any QB with a pulse.

That weird **** about spending a bunch of time working on sidearm throws was so bizarre to me. That's the thing you're worried about?

Reactions: Ian
Look at the post count on this thread. Low compared to normal. Maybe Ian can confirm that.
I wouldn’t pay a dollar to go sit in the rain and watch the Patriots punt for a couple hours.

Although I did go to the game in Germany and that wasn’t much better

Brady was a college player who never stepped foot in the NFL and frankly wasn’t ready to start that year. Teams saw Zappe in real NFL games and were able to pick him up at a bargain price. They didn’t even want him as a cheap backup. Pretending they are the same is disingenuous.

This game reminds me of FSU/Louisville last night.

How come the entire Chargers D knows whats coming?
Why can't Tommy Hodson Jr. change the ****ing play?

This entire team needs to be gone from coaching staff to practice squad players.
