It would be poetic justice if they banned the tush push for the playoffs or the Super Bowl only, with the Eagles in it.

Then Eagles fans can experience what happens when the NFL changes the rules in the middle of the season because of something associated with your team, and hopefully they throw a flag on the Eagles for trying it in the Super Bowl, while they let the AFC team do it because they somehow are using the early season rules.

Did you watch Penix and Nix last night? They looked very much like Mac. Scrambling out of a pocket scared of light pressure, a lot of off target throws off their back foot. I was petrified that the Patriots might end up with one of these two.
I think you're wrong on both.

I think you're wrong on both.
We'll see. I saw horrible mechanics on both, and no feel for the pocket.

I swear the next Patriot QB can be mediocre and I don't care as long as he stands in and steps up into the pocket and throws with solid mechanics. I will take Alex Smith if he can do that. I don't want to go through mindless gutless bad mechanic QB again.

I don't mean this to knock Reid. If your a Chiefs fan you're going to use every spin to make the case he's the best. But at the end of the day he built two impressive eras for 2 franchises and cashed it in for 2 Lombardi's so far. Bill took Brady and Built 2 impressive eras for the same franchise and then some and cashed in 6. Like somehow it's supposed to be a knock that he only did it with Brady. Reid needed McNabb and Mahomes and still has a ways to go to even get close. Get close to 6 then you can start talking about who needed what to get there.
He doesn't need 6. He's only 45 behind Bill in regular season Ws and 9 in playoff Ws. At the .723% clip w/ KC he'll reach 300 Ws in <4 years. He'll pass his playoff Ws too. He'll pass Bill in W% this season! He'll probably win at least one more SB in that time. He'll likely be 3rd behind Shula and Halas, depending on how long he wants to coach. He'll be in the conversation more so than Mahomes-Brady.

agree on Penix and Nix not sure they are worth a top 10 pick. Neither has pocket presence/composure. I still believe Daniels and Caleb are the only 2 worthy of a top 5 pick and I prefer Daniels for the patriots. I think Daniels is being tremendously underrated. If they can not get Daniels I am all in for Alt or the tackle from Penn State.

I suppose this would also be possible if someone became the all-time winner for the Bucs and then they moved on and took a job with the Panthers as well.
Bill's had 8 losing seasons in 29 years (.276), Reid's had 3 in 25 (.120). Not quite the same thing.

Was this just a practice squad elevation, or a signing to the 53? The verbiage isn’t clear
Has to be an elevation, but I’ll double check the transaction wire.

Reid also was a bit more fortunate at QB. As many have mentioned, that definitely matters.

It is funny how nobody knocks him for the Eagles Bills-esque streak in the postseason now that he’s at least won in Kansas City. Can’t even imagine how people would look at Bill if things were reversed. Winning pct definitely wouldn’t matter…they’d be crushing him.

AZ may not have much choice but to stick if they want Harrison.
Yeah if AZ trades down, Pats will take Harrison. So if they want Harrison they have to stay put, which lets NE take QB2. They can’t necessarily pressure NE into trading up, as in all likelihood NE will be happy with either player.

That's why I said I don't mean to knock Reid what he's done pretty impressive and if you want you can make your case for him you can. My point wasn't just to state my opinion of that debate my point is more about just how ridiculous 6 is and you can't just shrug it off as all Brady. If at the end of the day you chose all of Reids numbers over Bill's that's your choice and everyone is entitled to their opinion. That said clearly my opinion is 6 is so ridiculous Reid still has a ways to go.

I think Shula and Lombardi still have the better cases than Reid.

And Halas.
