Daniels was Boutte's QB for the latter's final year. I guess the question is if it's Daniels or Nabers for the success? Maybe find a way to draft both (or Brian Thomas Jr). Interest is piqued.
Like I said last weekend, they can now promote him and play him in the game (no emergency situation needed) for up to 3 weeks without using a roster spot. Could see them start Zappe this week and then play Grier the second half or something.Grier is (sorta) back! The season is saved! Get the duck boats ready...

The Patriots are adding a new quarterback.www.bostonherald.com
I don’t know who to believe anymore. Reiss says it is a blocking breakdown and Evan Lazar in his breakdown says that was blocked correctly and the free rusher was expected and that Mac should have known that a free rusher was coming and adjust and play accordingly.

With Sunday's loss he already passed Shula, in losses.Hope you Catch and pass Shula on another Team BB have mercy on us.
I've seen other analysts agree with Reiss. Don't trust Lazar since he went to work for the Pats. He's biased AF.I'd take Lazar over Reiss when it comes to diagnosing a play. But I'd take Reiss over Lazar when it comes to reporting news, especially since Lazar now technically works for the Patriots.
Now, this is the type of stay-up-all-night-trying-to-figure-out-a-path to some good scenario work effort you need to be rewarded for. I'm in and will be following your insights. The Patriots technically "control their own destiny" for #2 overall. Arizona is ahead of them, but only because they have not had their bye yet so they've lost an additional game. If the Pats lose out and the Cardinals lose out, they'll have the same record, and Arizona will likely have a higher SOS so the Pats will get #2. At least in all likelihood unless some of the teams they have yet to play drastically change their records. The Cardinals currently already have a higher SOS, and their remaining games have an overall SOS of about .625. The Patriots' remaining opponents have an overall SOS of about .522.
Interestingly, if the Panthers win 1 more game and the Saints, Falcons and Bucs all collectively accumulate a few wins to raise the Panther's remaining SOS, the Pats could end up with #1 overall based on SOS.
At this point nothing would really shock me at that position. You think Grier is going to play over Mac one week after he was cut?

I suppose if you simply look at it from the lens of what has only occurred in the games, yeah it has been pretty mum. But there's been so much noise around the position otherwise. The prior two weeks Bill was extremely evasive about the starter and refused to talk about it, only to just still start Mac... for a half... and Zappe for a half. They gave Grier some first-team snaps last week, then cut him. Cunningham was the QB2 for one week in a game, then he got cut. A lot of weird **** besides who's actually started. Why? Nothing shocking at that position has happened. Mac getting pulled surprised you?
I am not sure why they brought Grier back. If they are going to cut him, they might as well try a new guy.

I am talking about media chatter that Bill kind of feeds into with his sometimes silly answers, which truthfully does not amount to much.So much noise? Cunningham was QB2 for a game? Are you talking about the regular season or pre-season? You talk about noise around the QB position and then talk about pre-season like that is part of the QB noise? I am not following you at all. What noise? Grier got cut is noise? Mac threw two more picks so he was pulled. That is noise?
To me it all looks like normal stuff in the midst of a disastrous QB situation.
