Years ago I worked in an office where the Ops VP had a policy: every sheet of waste paper went through a shredder before it left the facility.

Reason was simple: no decision to be made meant no chance of making wrong decision.

That‘s why Bill couldn’t just come out and say it. If he starts talking about player personal matters it will be very easy to get it wrong.

It‘s also a matter of respect for Trent. It’s not Bill’s place to go talking about Trent’s family.

Not having the Cone of Silence would be a disservice to players, no matter who is coach.

I thought so last year when he let Brown and Wynn mail it in every week. Sort of antithetical to what many are opining that BB is too much of an unforgiving hardass. Whatever the eff is going on with BB it is a little more complicated than meets the eye. In fact, it's almost schizophrenic.

I just believe BB doesn't have the "guys".. judon, peppers, Dugger, Bentley I'd say are all leaders. But the dogs of past patriots teams would have this locker room under control.
