Hope he makes me eat these words but instead of Mapoo we could have had TE Sam Laporta - WR's Tan Dell or WR Michael Wilson. Nice going Bill how's that Offense doing??

LaPorta & Dell were both already gone by #76.

Too bad his pass-blocking Sucks.
Nope, he's been looking good the last several weeks. Not this weekend I grant you, but Mac invites all the abuse. This would be a more than solid line for any team with an OK QB.

Mapu’s NFL story has not been written after 9 games, coming from a small school and being played out to position for most of those 9 games.,

TanK Dell was picked seven spots before Mapu.

Laporta was picked THIRTY-FOUR spots before Mapu. Asinine to include him, but not surprising.

Wilson was picked a few spots behind Mapu, but unless you were pounding the table for them to pick him at 76, you have no right to criticize the Pats. Once again, easy to ace the test when you already have the answers.

Another clown show post by you.
We could have easily Traded up we had *Three Fourths* it was a very good TE Draft build a bridge and you know while you're at it.

20/20 hindsight looking back at the draft. So boring. Every team makes mistakes. We could line up and find 50 or 100 players we should have taken. YAWN! Why do posters like this sort of "know it all" postings?
I really liked LaPorta reminded me of that guy from the 49ers Kittle same school too the stars couldn't be more aligned. But I am sure Mapoo interviewed very well FYI Laporta is key part of that Lions Offense in case you were wondering these IBBWT Lemmings.

Siddy Sow is a bright spot Coach cap him and Onwenu have our Right side on Lockdown. That Strange is not living up to his First Rond billing.

LaPorta was drafted in R2. Mapu in R3. Ridiculous comparison.

Sorry thought he was taken in the Third.

Just for info in case you are not aware re Pennix injury history.

Not worried about the injury history. Hasn't affected his play I one iota.
Shoulder injury is irrelevant. He has a cannon so that shoulders fully healthy.
He's excellent in the pocket so the acl's don't worry me. Plenty if qbs have had acl's and had no long-lasting effects.
I've seen all of the top qbs play multiple times.
I'm no expert, but Penix has looked like the best consistently. He's also been in tough late game situations and been clutch. Can't say the same for most of the others.
After Penix, Daniels followed by Maye.
I just don't trust Williams. Very immature.
That's a trait in a qb thats rarely been overcome. Combined with his highly inconsistent play, no thanks.
Drafting a qb is a bit of a crapshoot.
