Trent Brown also not in Germany due to “personal issue” and injury.

Agreed. Funny how no-one could play RT but McDermott stepped in and was solid at LT. Strange and Sow at guard were OK too. Interesting to see if their good play continues.
As you know, Commanders played w/o their top 2 pass rushers, so we'll never know.

Colts are #26 in pressure%, #10 in sacks, and #30 in blitz%. Missing Brown shouldn't be an issue.

So keep a guy who has shown to be lazy in the past and might have a recurring knee issue?
whose laziness is exaggerated and who is the best Left Tackle on the roster by far…

sure. Cutting him hurts the team more than keeping him, and has no benefit except distracting butthurt fans from the hot mess at QB

Agreed. That's the point. With Jack Jones gone, JC almost gone and Trent cut, we're probably in the top 3-5 in the draft

How is it "exaggerated"? He fell to the 7th round in the draft since his coaches at UF didn't think he was motivated and reliable. Same issues in San Francisco. Same issues in Oakland. Now we had to give him a pay bump this year to get him to play. I wouldn't exactly call that exaggerated.

Belichick has lost the locker room, that is crystal clear

I doubt it. How many times have we been told the BB has lost the locker room or the players hate him? Same old narrative. The guy can still coach and the players respect that.

Cut Trent.

I mean it. Team sucks either way, and you CAN’T send a message that habitually being late is ok.

Just cut, or IR him and move on

Yea I don't think hes lost the locker room in the sense there is a mutiny. They play hard and don't quit.

What I do think has happened is he is not as effective of a coach. Penalties, etc.

Draft CJ Stroud instead of Mac Jones and all of this noise goes away.

I argued for Mac for awhile. Dude REALLY sucks. Worse than Zach Wilson who we make fun of. Mac sees ghosts, goblins, and vampires. Dude sucks really badly.

Do you believe the report that BB benched Mac on the last series because he never wanted Mac and Kraft forced Mac on the team for one more year? A FU to Kraft. Interesting.

Prob. People would still ***** about his drafts.

I did as well but its clear he is unsalvageable.

I don't believe thats why he benched him but do believe he didn't want Mac in 2023.

The personal problem doesn’t necessarily have to be ‘with the coaches’; legal issues; or something reflecting bad on him ….

loss of family member ; birt of baby; wife medical issues. For example

we all know how tight lipped BB is…. Why is board first assumption ‘ bad player - cut him!’
Gumby nailed it! Here’s what Brown said:

Brown’s personal matter was a death in his family, he told MassLive’s Mark Daniels. But he said he wasn’t going to play in Week 10 anyway because he was dealing with a sprained MCL and low and high ankle sprains. Head coach Bill Belichick said in Germany that the personal matter and injury kept Brown away from the team.

MMQB’s Albert Breer reported last Sunday that Brown is “habitually late.” Brown disputed the accusation.

“That’s (expletive). It’s a bunch of (expletive). I’m never late. Honestly. I’m one of the first ones in and one of the last ones out of the building,” Brown told MassLive. “If I am late to any meetings or anything, it’s because I’m a grown man and I should be allowed to go to the bathroom. Especially if it’s in between meetings and I’m trying to (go to the bathroom) or if I’m trying to grab something from the training room to be healthier and prepare for practice. It’s a lot of (expletive).

“I’m sure you’re not really used to reporting about losing seasons around here, but that’s the type of (expletive) rhetoric that comes to play. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all season I’ve been the best player on offense and then when I’m not playing, that (expletive) starts happening.”
