It's easy, and only takes a few moments. His profile comes up as empty for me.I don't see that he's been banned, but things got personal in another thread. Just my opinion, but the board needs as many posters as possible since things are getting stale in NE. There was already an exodus of posters after Tom left.
I had no problem with Crawlhammer, but Crawl had a hard time letting things go. Crawl was constantly arguing with Ian over pretty frivolous things.
Good passers know when to feather a throw in or when to put a little mustard on it.I was hopeful for Mac, but he has been floating long balls from day 1. He has had 2+ years to fix it but I see no progress. His weak arm means small windows and he lacks the ability to see how small his window is and the accuracy to hit it.
Sox no question.Brighter future: Sox or Pats?
Sox window opens first imo. They already bottomed out and the arrow will point up soon. Pats are working on it.
Yup he’s gone now. Dude will be missed. His profile comes up as empty for me.
And Crawhammer definitely had that ADHD.
Very fair assessmentI completely disagree.
On defense, Barmore, White, Uche, Jennings, Dugger, Jones, Jones, Gonzales (and probably Mapu) are all very good players.
On Offense, Douglas, Onwenu, Strange, Sow are good player, and I expect that Mafi will be, and think that Boutte could be.
The young core is there. But the Pats are a couple of years away IF they find a QB who can be consistent and quit throwing games away.
Big if.
You sound like a Jets fan.
Not trying and will not go politic here1. We just witnessed exhibit #99 that Mac can't make an NFL level throw outside the numbers. Ramsey was nowhere close to the receiver and had plenty of time to INT that lob. He's not the guy.
2. MIA lost the TO battle and gifted us 10 pts. We still lost by 14. Not great.
3. MIA had back-ups at LG and LT and may have lost RG during the game. Tua got sacked just twice and got around the pressure. Not good.
4. We got swept by the Phins. If not because we faced their 3rd string QB last season, they would've swept us then too (beat them by 2). McDaniel is outcoaching Belichick consistently.
5. "When an NFL team starts the season with a 2-6 record, that's usually a kiss of death when it comes to making the playoffs. Since the Super Bowl era started in 1966, only two teams out of 186 have made the postseason after opening the year with six losses in their first eight games, according the AP." Sayonara season.
6. With 9 games left to play, Belichick needs 7 more loses to tie Reeves/ Fisher for regular season loses and Tom Landry for total loses.
7. Kraft in March '23 (said same in March '22): "Look, I’d like him to break Don Shula’s record, but I’m not looking for any our players to get great stats,” Kraft said. “We’re about winning, and doing whatever we can to win. And that’s what our focus is now. And I -- it’s very important to me that we make the playoffs, and that’s what I hope happens next year.” Bob, there's always next year.
I'd like to see Crawhammer and DropKickFlutie in a fight. They'd slap each other to death.Yup he’s gone now. Dude will be missed.
Bill's record w/o Brady as starting QB is consistent:I’m just curious why we don’t include the games without Brady while he was with the patriots. It couldn’t be because Bill has a winning record in those games right?
Not trying and will not go politic here
But I do wonder how much the Palestine-Israel war is going to affect Kraft's focus regarding the Patriots
Maybethat conflict has been ongoing for decades, i'd bet it doesn't affect him anymore now than it has historically
Honestly, as someone who has spent many morning coffees perusing, laughing at, and/or trolling TF out of ****ty teams since the dawn of the internet (I miss you Jets Insider), I can promise that the ****ty team forums survive solely on inter-poster drama, personal vendettas, coach-firing desire and quarterback controversies.I don't know, I haven't seen the post yet
EDIT - saw it. Yeah, Kontra went too far. It was a snowball fight, but he pulled a cannon unnecessarily. Both being long time posters, I would try to reach them individually and hash things out
You know when you’ve lost the argument when you start ranting about nothing I had asked about now twice today and attacking my username. The facts are that the Patriots had the greatest run of success for 20 years during the salary cap era. It is crazy to think that the team that has won the most super bowls during that era should have won twice as many. Even with the most talent on paper is not a given. There have been many, many all time greats who have helped the team during that time. Some, like Logan Mankins, did not win a super bowl. Clearly you do not place the same level of importance on the good years as the years where the team fell short. I get it that BB is a prick to the media and makes decisions that others don't understand. He is still the GOAT coach and you should find a new team to be a fan of until the he retires.
NOTE: crying about unrealistic expectations does not make you a rainmaker.
