Probably break his toe.Break out game this Sunday??!!
that fear is why he is inactiveProbably break his toe.
Oh Dear - Whose going to take his place today and pick up his “one catch”? Such a shame, seems like just yesterday he was “turning heads in the film room”….that fear is why he is inactive
It was ridiculous. Adding muscle, fawning over his workouts, extolling his work ethic watching film.If there was ever a preseason hype job that turned into nothingness...
NopePossibly being protected because theres interest in a trade or just actually a healthy scratch? Is it too early to call this pick a bust yet?
Healthy scratch.Did he play today? Didn't see him
Just stupid by the Patriots.Thorton over Pickens is Cunningham over Dunlap all over again
it is hard to imagine that he is worse than JSS or ParkerClose the book on him, he's done. History says when a draft pick on the Pats doesn't contribute substantially by year two, they never will. There are very small outliers to this such as Edelman, Wise and Uche who are both declining again.
It really is amazing to me that Thornton, in theory, is worse than those two guys. I mean by all metrics both Juju and Parker are two of the worst receivers in the entire league and Thornton is so bad that he can't get activated over one of them?it is hard to imagine that he is worse than JSS or Parker
honestly i highly doubt that he is worse. I mean his speed can not only be used on vertical routes. right now no defense needs to fear our WR to go deepIt really is amazing to me that Thornton, in theory, is worse than those two guys. I know I mentioned it the other day but a couple weeks back Lazar said TT was loafing on a fly route that was supposed to clear out space underneath for Bourne and it gave the DB time to break up the pass. Lazar also said that Thornton looked like he ran the wrong route last week and got benched after. If Thornton can't even act as a decoy that is telling. He doesn't strike me as lazy (But what the hell do I know?) so I wonder if it is a coaching issue. I really haven't been in love with the results at receiver under Troy Brown's coaching.honestly i highly doubt that he is worse.
