I
did

but then you hear stories like the Falcons asked Bill If they should trade up for Julio
Jones.
He replies no because you can get Ronald Parker without moving and hes a similar talent.
Meh. I'm sure Bill thought Julio Jones was an elite talent.

Thats under .'will not pay a premium for WR talent.'

"Similar" is a loose term. Bill believes in strong QB play and all a WR needs to do is get open. He does not view a "gamebreaker" at the WR position as a "must have".

For those of you complaining about the Pats D, try watching the Broncos...

I try not to watch the Broncos as a rule. They may be the one team that is harder to watch than the Patriots.

The patriots would be a playoff team this year if only they had drafted xxxx instead of yyy?

I will start;

AJ Brown instead of Nkeal Harry

The problem is that the draft and important player acquisitions has a domino effect.

If the Patriots draft AJ Brown and he makes an impact on our offense akin to when we first drafted Gronk does Tom Brady ever leave? Does that mean we add a couple more Lombardis to our trophy shelf?

If the Patriots had drafted Pickens instead of Twiggy Branch, does Mac Jones finally look like a decent QB in year 3 because he has a reliable weapon instead of exposed as the noodle-armed 'deer in headlights' QB we've come to know in 2023?

Hard to say. But the cumulative effect is that the cupboard is BARE on offense. And our team has FAILED to even break the 20 point mark on offense in 6 of our first 8 games. That's right 75% of the time our cruel joke of an offense can't even score 20 points!

Giants have no QB a shiny 4th for Mac or Zappe?

I hate Hill. He is absolutely uncoverable. So unfair.
And now losing Parker, it may have been lining up nicely but then Bourne got hurt. Who knows how bad it is.
Next week we're at least without those 2. So, have to imagine Thornton & Boutte get activated.l

Hill IS the Doofins offensive weapon….either he gets open quickly and easily and makes the play himself or he draws the coverage and opens up everything for the other receivers/RBs….he is the ultimate weapon and is 100% responsible for the resurrection of Tua….who was almost traded and coaching was trying to replace him with everyone including Brady before Hill got there….

Stop it with the league “hates us” ****. The Team sucks, period. If you can’t see that then you’re fing blind. No talent, it’s obvious.

Have you been even noticing the ****ty refereeing against the Pats this year?? This is not even the 3rd worst refereed game this year.

Ok, Ian. Whatever helps you sleep at night. We all know that the single post was merely a veneer; a weak spin to do what you do.
Probably just a coincidence that it happens minutes after PP2 says to ban him.

Congratulations @PP2 on your latest involvement in another well liked poster in @Kontradiction getting banned. How many you at now?

This just makes last week's win that much more frustrating on many levels...but most important draft position

Kirk Cousins just tore his achilles, so Minnesota needs a qb. Do we have anything along those lines we might be willing to part with for a reasonably plumpy little draft pick?

Giants have no QB a shiny 4th for Mac or Zappe?
If BB can get a 4th for Zappe then I take back every single criticism I have of the GM of this team and the phone he used to make that trade should go into Canton right away

So Tua is now 6-0 vs Bill. Tua is Bill's Daddy.

This board was quiet last week. Now that the Pats lost again, let's see how many threads emerge to fire Bill.
tell us why, oh why, should bill Belichick remain coach of this team should they continue winning games at the .250 clip they are now? Bill needs to go, and I'm befuddled how people that actually watch other teams and other offensive talent think this ****ing dinosaur should remain at one Patriot place

My biggest takeaway from that game is that the team has an issue at QB.

The officiating was atrocious.

The defense wasn't great on 3rd/4th down and at finishing drives, but they played fairly well IMO considering the opponent. They were playing from behind all game, which is a big disadvantage. Gotta play from ahead against these guys.

Two things can be true at once.
Did you see the hit on Parker?
The holding call on Godchaux?
The missed hold(s) on the Mostert run?

On and on and on. Stevenson’s “fumble” against Miami a couple of years ago vs. the critical no call today?
And what has been their record since 2020? Not good.
