this is nothing new... the steeler fans have been ripping on tomlin for a long time...

The first coach I was vaguely aware of was Raymond Berry. But then, I was born in 1980. So, pretty sure he was practically the first coach I COULD be aware of

Yup - never seen a fanbase in any sport be as unhappy with their coach as much and as long as the dumbass Steeler fans while said coach being as successful as Tomlin has been. They don't deserve that organization.

How successful has Tomlin been?

Is just making the playoffs what the NFL is all about?

He’s on track to keep his streak alive for being .500 or above, but he’s had a lot of playoff blunders. In fact, they haven’t won a playoff game since 2016. 8-9 total playoff record.
He won a SB with Ben.
He did in 2008, but it seems as though the Steelers have only won or have gotten to a Super Bowl when either the Pats got knocked out (2005 and 2010) or when Brady suffered an injury in 2008.

The Pats would’ve beat them down in all 3 years. Pats never needed assistance from other teams to get through to the Super Bowl.

Point is Tomlin is a good HC. But he needs a good QB like any HC to be successful.
