OT: WR Claypool to Miami

He was a good possession WR.

Claypool appears to suck.

That said I wish we would have ****ing done the same deal. I hate that explosive offenses like Miami are still trying to improve, and we're just sitting here like "we downgraded from meyers to juju and drafted two 6th round WR, what more could you possibly want"
Imagine how Mac feels. Can't blame him for being at least a little checked out.

If he can be what he was the first two years with the Steelers, this is an absolute steal for the Dolphins. It would make the Hill, Waddle, and Claypool trio the best 1,2,3 punch in the league. That said, he seems to have lost whatever he was those first two years. But not a bad risk for the Dolphins.
He needs to make his impact quick because they had a good thing going with Cracraft. Cracraft comes back in 3 games, and Berrios seems to get all the slot minutes. Robby Anderson seems a shell of himself, and though Wilson hurt us last year, he's an afterthought. So it's a battle for 4th WR between Cracraft and Claypool. Smart thing would be to call them Cray-Clay and be done with it.

The polar opposite of the Pats. They need a DB. Trade for a WR that won’t play.

Mike McDaniel a little ****y.

Two years ago OBJ was available and rumored to want to want to play for the Bucs. Arians made some stupid joke like “we already have too many letters (AB)” and felt they had too many receivers.

Godwin got injured. Evans got injured. AB went AWOL.

The Rams also had a lot of weapons but signed OBJ who was arguably the difference as the Rams edged the Bucs and won the Super Bowl with OBJ playing a notable role.

Good move by Dolphins.

He's a clown glad he's not here

Hope our #3 CB can cover him...those who live in glass house shouldn't throw stones.

The type of move you can make when you're rolling and bringing in a guy is more of a luxury than a necessity.

Patsfans posters about Claypool, up until this AM:
“No! He’s a head case and a cancer and has sucked since 2021.”

Some of the same Patsfans posters about Claypool, after his trade to the Dolphins was announced this AM:
“Damn! Why don’t we make low risk/high reward moves like this? He’s an elite talent who has been in a bad situation and we need that type of playmaker.”

(probably)

Had a pretty electric start to his career but tapered off and never really got it going. He’s probably going to do pretty well in the 3rd option spot for Miami.

Wouldn’t of minded the Pats taking a flyer on this one. Low risk with a wild card return.
