Mount Brown - stands like a mountain . moves like James Brown
Thanks for posting that. The fifth play was my favorite. How many yards downfield did he drive that guy?

Why have you heard of V Lowe?? He's been a excellent find.Play Sow at right tackle, play Mafi at left guard.
He’s been decent, he’s a good technician but not a good athlete. His one great attribute is length, after Trent Brown he has the widest wingspan on the team. Why have you heard of V Lowe?? He's been an excellent find.
Sow might be the better athlete, and the eventual RT starter. But what matters now is who gives the best performance on the field this weekend. Lowe is healthy, Sidy isn’t. Lowe has been working with the starters for the past couple of weeks while Sow has been recovering from having his brain scrambled. Dallas has OL issues. Give Lowe the start, give Sow another week to recover, unless things start going seriously sideways tomorrow. He’s been decent, he’s a good technician but not a good athlete. I don’t know if the coaches think Sow is ready or not but he’s a bigger better athlete and was the starter at RT before injuries forced him inside and eventually to miss games with a concussion. He is the eventual starter there, sooner or later.
Sow has had two weeks to recover from a concussion, usually a one week turnaround. He's got a complete bill of health according to the injury report. Coming back too soon from a concussion increases susceptibility to future concussions, and probably contributes to CTE. So I’m not at all impressed with a one week turnaround. I think the entire league routinely brings players back too soon after concussions. It’s an area where they should err on the side of caution, and really don’t. Look at how long it took to acknowledge the reality of CTE.Sow has had two weeks to recover from a concussion, usually a one week turnaround. I'd like to see Sow a RT. If they do play him, that would represent the largest lineup in terms of mass they can field. The Cowboys had trouble stopping the run last week, put Pharaoh Brown in there and move the pile with the big guys. Give Zeke 20+ carries and let him have his revenge game.
Lazar speculated it could be conditioning with Onwenu. He was fairly solid all game aside from the penalties.Any thoughts why Onwenu played so poorly? By the mid second quarter Scott Zolak said “number 71” was having a stinker of a game after another error.
I was traveling and could only listen.
I thought Lowe really struggled for the 2nd game in a row.So RT. Still a problem. Is Sidy Sow’s hoped-for return going to solidify the position?
Yep. I speculated the same on page 3 of this thread after Onwenu’s first game back. And he looked even heavier than his normal 335 pound self. By a good 20-30 pounds.Lazar speculated it could be conditioning with Onwenu. He was fairly solid all game aside from the penalties.
How the do you leave a guy like Lowe one on one with one of the best Pass Rushers in the League. BOB needs to get his head out of his @ss.Onemenu & Lowe were ****ing HORRIBLE today. Onemenu in particular should've been benched around the same time Corky was, if not sooner.
Did you see Calvin Anderson's last game at Tackle?? Oh my virgin eyes some things should not be seen.If Sow is ready to return, here’s the OL starting lineup if Klemm had had a strong mental side to his game this offseason and TC:
Calvin Anderson-Sidy Sow (OT next year perhaps)-Cole Strange-Tony Mafi*-Trent Brown
That could have been a strong OL. I would have put both Mafi and Chasen Hines at RG this TC and see who would win out. Putting Hines at LG was boneheaded.
And I would have done the same thing at LG with Strange and Sow. I have a problem with Strange’s “skinny jeans” lower half. It’s only marginally better this season.
* Until Onwenu is recovered and back in shape. He is only good on one of those two.
Related to an OL rant I had a week or so ago, I wonder why in certain pass situations, Tackles don't try to drive Edge rushers along the LOS in the direction of the sidelines to avoid ineligible man downfield. Thanks for posting that.
