it’s funny moving across country because the differences in regional temperament and culture are really driven home. Imagine you’re a Jets fan. You win the off season, but now it’s the regular season. It’s getting cold AF. There’s traffic everywhere. The leaves have fallen off all the trees and the horizon is a decrepit North East brick-cityscape. There’s a huge ****ing line at the Dunkin’ drive-thru, you’re late for work, you had four days off of summer where it didn’t rain and now it’s gone, and Aaron Rodgers, who you’re paying 50 million dollars to, to watch Jets games like you, is telling Joe Namath to STFU about Zach Wilson on his California-vibing’ podcast visits.

I said it a few pages back. Things will sour between him and the team/fanbase. He already blamed the coaches for their blocking scheme that he claims got him hurt. Now he's calling out the fans. There is still 3.5 months for this thing to get even worse.

We really couldn't ask for a more entertaining Jete season and we're only THREE GAMES IN! The stadium looked only about two-thirds full Sunday, it'll be interesting to see how many show up Sunday night. Fingers crossed for a 2-0 Chiefs win.

The impact of Namath's condemnation should not be underestimated, it completely contradicts what Rodgers has put out there. My only concern is Woody throwing in the towel and selling the team, should fans boycott. Hopefully the promise of Rodgers returning next season precludes that.

Rodgers may think he’s still dealing with Packers fans and saying the equivalent of “R-E-L-A-X” will work. Jets fans can’t look at a Super Bowl 10 years ago or Favre’s SB and all his other accomplishments. All Jets fans have seen is failure. They thought “This is the year” again and had those hopes dashed again. Telling them to be patient and positive is not going to work.

Yet their fans just had an entire off-season where everyone blew hot air up their asses and told them out great this season was going to be.

Telling that fan base that if we wait long enough punky will be good just will not cut it. It is just not plausible. What has been seen cannot be unseen. Even the 80-year-old drunkard and druggie Joe Namath will tell you that.

Their front office set them up to fail by not fixing their offensive line this off season and not finding a decent backup quarterback.
