Bill's offensive roster building

Because of one sack allowed… good to see the typical first month of overreactions isn’t taking hold.
Besides the sack I think Anderson did not play well at all

Mr Kraft will put a better Offensive product on the Field when he starts seeing empty seats in that beautiful stadium. If would serve him well to Strip BB of his GM duties BB is living in the pass the current game has passed him by. Also Mac Jones is a average QB who won't lead a Team anywhere...we are stuck in mediocrity.

We need to scrap the Schuster and Parker contracts.
Try to build the offense around players with the skill set of Thornton and Douglas.
Bill the GM needs to be demoted for the Schuster and Parker extensions.
Have a 4 of and I can’t believe I’m saying this, Thornton, Douglas, Bourne, Reagor, with Boutte as your 5th.

I think we should move Cole Strange to an oversized fullback.
Like why wouldn’t we?
Elliot and Stephenson need holes to run, they are fast or agile to create plays on their own.
I hated trading Strong but saw the need just wish it wasn’t Strong.
It’s fine to have big lumbering backs but we need a speed guy in there mixed it.
Hated the Godchsax contract still do.
Too slow to be effective against the pass not strong enough to clog up the run.
What are we actually doing with these players.

Seriously we lead in salary cap space but Hill and Diggs is not going to be a free agent you need to draft fast explosive WRs.
The days of winning with only possession WRs is dead.
Bill needs to get a reality check on this.

Agree with everything aside from the Mac comments.
I’ll take it one step further with Bill he’s a incredible DC put him back there.

all offseason we heard from some fans that teams are dumb for paying receivers and how bill is smarter than the rest of the league when some fans pointed out how other teams went and got hill, aj brown, diggs etc...

well last 2 games it's pretty evident we have no horses. no guys who can separate or make plays. bill is still building the team like its the 90's. play tough defense, run the ball and play mistake free offense. you cant win in the nfl that way anymore. we brought a knife to a gun fight and couldn't keep up.

look how easy hill/waddle make it look for tua. always open, 20 yards pop. instead its screen to juju, hope bourne gets open 5-8 yards out.

sure bill built up the defense. but we are left with average receivers and a poor OL. cant run the ball and have to go in 13 play methodical drives. and so far Juju looks like a mistake. when we couldve had meyers for the same price. who had 80 yards and 2 td's in his debut.
I've been saying this since the second half of 2019 when it became obvious that Bill the GM ignored the skill positions....nothing has changed

Wozzy if you think this Team Offensively have snow balls chance in hell to make the playoffs...I have a piece of the Brooklyn bridge to sell ya...going once going twice...

Jump off of it

I miss the Flores defenses they were clutch for us.
I’m on record with this we need a former offensive superstar as a head coach.
Edelman, Welker, Brady.

You’re arguably the biggest negative nancy on this board. I’m not surprised.

Mac can't throw to outsides moon balls don't have a chance there...just clog the Offensive middle and game over. The Patriots Offense is very very easy to Defend I think the Jets are going to tear us a New one we ain't scoring 10 points on their Defense book it!

When can Thornton come back and can someone get Parker and Shuster to do something so we can void those contracts?

I’m sure one of you know a woman who can show them a good time then have them waking up like it’s the Hangover,

That may be true but do you think the OT market will look better next FA? I highly doubt it in terms of quantity and quality

And who knows maybe one of them would have looked better here than they are doing with their current teams
Agree, but I'd rather draft them than pay $86m to a guy who is no better than Calvin Anderson.

We had Gonzalez and Keion White fall to us in this draft. We may be more desperate next time.

La’ell Collins should be a on the next plane to New England.

But Bill and Kraft are pry busy promoting prior superbowl wins and sharing tinder profiles with one another,

Agree
I think the decision would have been between gonzalez and broderick jones if both available
Hopefully there will be some OT available next year and I don’t care if it’s draft or FA

When you build teams like this, these are the results you’re going to get.

Their offense is just overmatched. They throw their haymakers moving the ball on a few plays, then fold like a lawn chair when the defense punches them back in the mouth. Bill O’Brien’s play calling/play design hasn’t been very good so far.

Good point. If you look at some young coaches play design and schemes like Miami 49ers rams packers Vikings then you see much more innovative plays where guys who are average weapons at best are in a position to make plays
The pats offense is easily one of the most predictable offenses within the last years

In this dark hour, there is room for hope:
O-Line eventually getting healthy, new guys getting experience, and playing together will improve it
Mac actually looks fine and wasn't wrecked by Patricia/Judge
Pops is electric -- agree that we should have left him in, but whatever, we got us a playmaker
Defense is really good -- I mean Miles Bryant and Shawn Wade against that attack and we only gave up 24. Miami is good!
Special teams on the rebound.

Patience...
