Again, I think Bill is the greatest coach of all time, but when he's chasing a personal record and the team is not making progress in four years, how long are we as fans content with that? It's an open ended question. I don't know the answer.

Potentially, but the more aggressively he builds the team, the more "boom or bust" potential there is. I think he's been building a "safe" roster that will guarantee a floor of 8 wins rather than risk a low floor high ceiling roster.

The only exception I’d make to that is if the team suffers a key injury (I.E., Mac). Then I’d give him one more year. If not, I’m good with it if that’s the direction the Krafts want to go. Most coaches get 2-3. Some get 1. He gets 5-6 years. Seems fair.

I probably have lower standards than you [insert joke here] but I’m sticking with him if we do make the playoffs. Twice in four years and an ascending defense. I’m not ready to blow that up. But a lot of it depends on Mac and whether we want to stick with him or move on after this year.
