Mahomes probably leads the league in those little flip-handoffs that count and passes.

I don’t hate Mahomes like I did Rodgers and Manning. I didn’t care for his hot dogging stuff trying to be Michael Jordan but it seems he's grown out of that. The guy is a damn good QB and seems to be a damn good leader. I’ll try to ignore the media hype idiots and just enjoy watching him play. I think he has a good shot to wind up in the highest class of QBs alongside Brady, Montana, Graham, and Baugh.

I can’t stand the media fawning or the fake injuries. I’ve never liked when guys start limping around or acting like they have some kind of injury when they make a bad play. I can’t blame him for the first though because that’s not his fault. he’ll probably wind up somewhere #2-4 on the all time list when he retires

My favorite player in the league now is Evans who is moving up the TD ranks and is 36th in yards. 1 TD away from Gronk.

Likely his last year in Tampa. I think he goes to KC, where Mahomes has looked ordinary without an elite deep threat. Or he goes to Houston, where they have a hotshot QB in Stroud. With Strouds rookie contract, they can easily afford the likely 22-25 mil average for 3 years that Evans will likely get.

I’m torn on Mahomes. I hate that KC gets so many calls. Obviously I dislike the overhype. But Mahomes is a great quarterback and has a real set of balls, plays huge in the biggest moments, appears to be great teammate. Can’t hate him like the undeserving pretenders Manning, Rodgers, Brees whose legacies were built mainly on bad excuses.

Where is KC getting the money for that? Between Kelce, Mahomes, bunch of money on o-line, Chris Jones... perhaps they do it, but Evans isn't an aging vet with declining stats yet, so he wouldn't come cheap.

Exactly. Tyreek Hill gone, Kelce getting older, Mahomes looking human. You know Andy Reid is going to take care of Mahomes next year and get him a bona fide deep threat receiver no matter the cost.

Wish BB did the same for Brady in 2019 instead of cheaping out looking for a star WR in the bargain bin. That team was a SB caliber team but they were old and missing a couple pieces. BB kept on saying they had no money cause of the cap, but easily could have restructured. Easily could have traded some future draft capital, he was missing on drafts anyway, especially the 2nd rounders at that point.

And that 10-7 season in 2021 was a mirage. It was absolutely luck that they got that many wins, like the win against Buffalo with 1 pass attempt. They were a bad team and getting blown out in the playoffs by 40 something to zilch (I think) proved it.
