2. The Yankees hat is on top of the hat rack, so if it is NE, it is southern CT
3. The conclusion that this one data point (even if not faked) means that there is a pattern of disrespect for the player is stupidity on parade.
I thought it was just a joke anyway.Fitzy did, for cheap engagement.
You can clearly see basketball uni's on that rack.
Teams have to cut down to 53 players tomorrow, they don't have to be ready to play for another two weeks.Russey. Nobody is likely claiming Hines or Russey. You said claim players from teams with good OL's. Think someone is drooling for one of ours? If by chance either is claimed the team will just need to deal with Ferrentz.
Look at the numbers. Two new players they traded for, three rookies, plus Brown, Onwenu, Strange, Andrews. That's nine and Reiff stays if he can play anytime reasonable at all since about 6 million is guaranteed, and he didn't look bad at guard. How many will they keep?
You've been saying the line is fine, but it has not been. I know Saturday was preseason, but Bill Murray was the backup OT, and Sow who we will leave aside for the future with different opinions, is far from ready to play in a real game. We're one 30 year old OT who has averaged 10 games a year the last four years away from having zero healthy NFL tackles, unless you want to start weakening other positions. It's a problem even if Anderson came back tomorrow.
This is a bigger issue than worrying about a backup center.

I didn't say the "line is fine" this preseason, I said they were auditioning for one starting position... right tackle. They presumably found that player in Sow. Along the way there have been injuries and all sorts of stuff that happens in the offseason.
If all five starters are healthy the line is fine. With the three rookies and one of the tackles they just traded for, I assume Wheatley, they'll have quality depth. Don't panic.
Until we see that Onwenu and Strange are both healthy and able to play a full game at normal effectiveness, I am also worried about GI think they are fine center and guard, but tackle is currently a mess.
I think they got Wheatley to compete with Sow and one of them is the opening day RT.It's certainly not panic. Many times these situations are sorted out when the problem is caught and dealt with early enough, which with these two acquisitions seem to be at least acknowledgement it's currently bad.
Where I've disagreed is Sow being any sort of answer, at least for this year at tackle. There has been no answer for RT, and even if Anderson comes back, there are two questionable starters in terms of health with almost nobody as a backup.

Show me a perfect team in week one… I’d like to see it?It's certainly not panic. Many times these situations are sorted out when the problem is caught and dealt with early enough, which with these two acquisitions seem to be at least acknowledgement it's currently bad.

I think you’re right. Then they got the chance to get Lowe and grabbed him too.I think they got Wheatley to compete with Sow and one of them is the opening day RT.
Or backup L/RI think they got Wheatley to compete with Sow and one of them is the opening day RT.
Yep. I think they feel better about their options today than they did on Friday.Or backup L/R
Playing all those positions and playing all those positions WELL are not the same thing. For example, -I- could play all of those positions. He can play WR, RB and play special teams. We’ll see if he can stay healthy. I think relying on a player with his injury history is dumb but we’ll see if he makes the 53.
If this is true there has to be some kind of protection to get out of the contract for injury correct?I guess juju's knee is a mess. Maybe shoulda kept Jacobi. Not smart throwing that kinda money at an injured player. Stick with the homegrown talent
And yet he had the most receptions for a wr in training camp.I guess juju's knee is a mess. Maybe shoulda kept Jacobi. Not smart throwing that kinda money at an injured player. Stick with the homegrown talent
I'm worried about receptions in the playoffs not the pre season. I hope the knee holds upAnd yet he had the most receptions for a wr in training camp.
They’ll (potentially) have Trent and Sow as starters with Wheatley as swingman backup and Onwenu as break glass in case of emergency. They can also stash Reiff or McDermott or another prospect on the practice squad.Mafi, Sow (if they did jump him over), and even Hines, Russey would be adequate backups IMO. And there's even Reiff. How many guards can they have?
They made trades.I didn't see potential backups or a starting RT before maybe these trades.
You’re wrong and have been wrong since the second preseason game. Rather than admit it you’ve doubled down.If Sow starts opening day, they will have to keep a TE to block by his side. IMO Sow would be a disaster now.
Why? This is silly logic. That's true, but imperfections like RB depth, no #1 WR, and lack of NT are acceptable.
