Starting to think it’s not a lock that Trey Lance even makes the 49ers roster. Might be one of the biggest draft busts of all time.

He probably makes it because of the capital that was invested in him, but he looks like the #3 QB behind Darnold and the starter in Purdy.

He looks no different than Stroud and Richardson right now. Teams still overrating QB's just because they need one which is why we see so many high drafted QB busts. Teams are getting desperate trying to find the next Mahomes.

Trey Lance looks like trash. Sorry, @BaconGrundleCandy. I know you really liked him. There’s still time for him to turn it around but, in the limited time I’ve watched him, you can tell that this guy is not a film rat.

In my defense I had a 2nd RD grade on Lance. I would have never taken him or Mac or Wilson in RD1. Also Shanahan can't develop QBs. He's good at putting you in a position to succeed but he's not the QB guru some think he is.

I don't "feel bad" for Lance but this is what happens when you're drafted too high.

Brutal trade. But it's flying under the radar because Shanahan has gone to two consecutive NFCCG's. Had they had two losing seasons, Shanahan and Lynch would've been fired.
