Wow..incredible..
Of the original tweet, it's amazing how few of them won a SuperBowl, too.damn looking at that full list there's a ton of future HOFers on there especially early... crazy. Every non QB in the top 10 was a hit at some point.
Von Miller and JJ Watt are definite HOFers. Not sure Jordan is.damn looking at that full list there's a ton of future HOFers on there especially early... crazy. Every non QB in the top 10 was a hit at some point.
Agreed in a sense the gonzo pick reminded me when we picked McCourty.. no one really knew who he was. He turned out as we all know to be one of best patriots players ever!Yea but we ended up getting a top 10 talent in Christian Gonzalez, who I think will be more impactful to the team long term and we have a much longer history of success with DBs than WRs
We had enough picks where we could have moved up to take someone like him back into the 1st round, but would have meant losing out on guys like Mapu. I'm really comfortable coming away from the draft with the picks they made, short of offensive Tackle that is but they brought in some veterans where they have a good idea of where their floor is to help bridge the gap... definitely a position we need to get locked down like in the good ole days of Light/Solder

Agreed.. I don't think in NE he was on the radar is what I was trying to say. Fans were thinking WR. But Agreed we absolutely got lucky. I'm happy we have him well need him!. Emmanuel forbes will thrive with that Defensive front in WashingtonIn this case I'd argue everyone knew who Gonzo was, he was projected as a top 10 pick and even a top 5 from some "experts"
We definitely got lucky with him falling as far as he did, reminds me of Wilfork falling kind of.. I was stunned Washington took Forbes over him
One trick pony for the money he commands. He can rush the passer, but can’t stop the run to save his life. What is the problem with this guy? He’s been on six other teams over his career and been unemployed until now. He still is good at rushing the passer and is 28 years old. He’s not injury prone.
What am I missing about him? One trick pony? Meaningless sacks? Bad teammate? Looking for too much money?
Wow..incredible..
They love the retreads.
