Update: Curran says Belichick has been on the hot seat since 2019

Edit: Also, was this not a playoff team last year but-for Jakobi's dumbass in Las Vegas?
I'm arguing this in another thread. That play falls on the coaching staff... specifically the head coach. Anything but a kneel down in that spot was dumb.

Like who would be BETTER than Bill Freaking Belichick?
Not available but better right now...

Andy Reid
Sean McVay
Kyle Shanahan
Doug Pederson
Zac Taylor
Nick Sirianni
Matt LaFluer
John Harbaugh
Kevin O'Connell
Sean McDermott

That pushes Bill out of the current top 10 head coaches. I can't say he's better because he's too new but I would still take Brian Daboll over Belichick at this point. I like Sean Payton too but let's see if can straighten out Russell Wilson.

In the blue corner, we have the Bill haters who 100% believe Trollin' Volin when he throws shade at Belichick

In the red corner, we have the Bill lovers, who think Trollin' Volin is a turd stirrer only there to garner hate clicks.

Semi-OT - one of several old shows I miss dearly!

Believing pretty much anything Volin writes just brands you an idiot. Volin is beyond stupid, is a Fins fan, and has zero sources close to the Pats.
Yet we all know who he is and he's got people talking. He's been at the Globe for 10 years as their senior NFL reporter and you think he has "zero" creditable sources?? That's a really dumb take.

LOL at people who think the elderly Bob Kraft is gonna fire BB, install Mayo, and cope with the resulting ****storm.

This is a pure troll job from Trollin' Volin.

Sad that so many people fall for his BS.

It's the slow season, folks, wake the **** up!

Edit: Also, was this not a playoff team last year but-for Jakobi's dumbass in Las Vegas?
Ignoring the fact that you are clearly assuming they win they game when fact is if you take away Jakobi's dumbassery in Vegas, it merely sends the game into overtime.....

No. No they weren't.

After taking less money for the team to afford players and getting K Harry as a reward.
Are you auditioning for local sports talk radio, where nontroversies and conspiracy theories abound??..

Kraft did take a position which was for Bill to come to a solution on Tom because a) thats what he pays Bill for and b) avoid any public tar and feathering.
Again, you can't escape the no franchise clause. There is no way RKK didn't have a major hand in that. And avoiding a public tar and feathering didn't exactly work out, RKK has taken a fair share of criticism for the Brady departure. 1) That he let him go and 2) that he got absolutely nothing back for a quarterback who went on to win a Super Bowl and have MVP caliber seasons.

There's a recent history of such dumb play calls at the end of regulation.
28-3 sweep on the last play of regulation, Dion Lewis pulled his hammy
Gronk on safety duty for the miracle in Miami
The Jakobi to Chandler walk off

Shanahan is the only outlier that is doing well with okay QB play.
49ers quarterbacks had a 102.3 passer rating, 30 TDs, and 9 INTs. That's better than okay. Shanahan is a great head coach however and he got a lot out of less than elite quarterbacks. Garoppolo was playing really well last season before he got injured.

Oh, and now you have such a weak argument you lie about me rather than discussing the subject. I’ll take the W on that exchange by forfeit.
You defended the Patricia hiring as though your life depended on it.

Not sure how you are defining decisive. He couldn’t force Brady to want to stay.
And it was best for the franchise. They were not in a position to win a SB before he retired and were able to use that money elsewhere. They are surely in better shape today that if he had stayed.
In better shape how? The football team is 25-26 and currently at best the third ranked team in their division. When was the last time you could say that? Probably 2000.

BB - 6 rings

Andy Reid - 2 rings

Sean McVay - used up seven years worth of first round picks and all his cap space for 1 ring

Kyle Shanahan - zero rings

Doug Pederson - 1 ring, but he had elite QB Nick Foles so Doug was just riding his coat tails

Zac Taylor - zero rings

Nick Sirianni - zero rings

Matt LaFluer - zero rings

John Harbaugh - 1 ring, but he had elite QB Joe Flacco so John was just riding his coat tails, has an "elite QB" now supposedly but only got past the first round once

Kevin O'Connell - zero rings

Sean McDermott - zero rings

It takes a BB hater. If you asked any and all of these coaches above, who would they answer?

Not it doesn't. It's nonsense. Par for the course.

Wrong Bill got killed 1000 times worse than Bob and again, Bob let BB make the decision via plausible deniability.

Wrong. They got back cap space and R3/96 comp pick for Tom.

If you actually read his stuff other than the hit takes on Bill, you'd know I was right. Although you'd never admit it. He has NFL sources, just zero sources inside the Pats. Combine that with the fact that he's dumb as a rock.

You're literally arguing it with me in the other thread. Am I just a nameless NPC to you? Lol

Dude, I said right now. I'm not ranking their full careers.

Postseason Record 2019-2022:

Andy Reid = 10-2 (SB win)
Sean McVay = 5-1 (SB win)
Kyle Shanahan = 6-3 (SB appearance)
Zac Taylor = 5-2 (SB appearance)
Nick Sirianni = 2-2 (SB appearance)
Matt LaFluer = 2-3
Sean McDermott = 4-4
Doug Pederson = 1-2
John Harbaugh = 1-3
Brian Daboll = 1-1 (only one season)
Kevin O'Connell = 0-1 (only one season)

Bill Belichick = 0-1

In hindsight perhaps I should have put O'Connell in the too new category with Daboll but instead I've added Daboll to the list.

Wrong. They got back cap space and R3/96 comp pick for Tom.
Like I said nothing. Or amounted to nothing. Tell me I'm wrong. Friggin Tom Brady for Christ's sake.

Wrong Bill got killed 1000 times worse than Bob and again, Bob let BB make the decision via plausible deniability.
Plausible deniability, I suppose congratulations on trying to be crafty... but that's weak leadership. And still, RKK absolutely had to have been at least on board with the no franchise clause.

If you actually read his stuff other than the hit takes on Bill, you'd know I was right. Although you'd never admit it. He has NFL sources, just zero sources inside the Pats. Combine that with the fact that he's dumb as a rock.
Is he really "dumb" or you just don't like him? He's well educated, has an MBA. And after 10 years, he has sources inside the Patriots organization, or he wouldn't have his job.
