Mayo decides to stay on staff without getting the assistant head coach or DC title.
Why would he do this unless he was promised the HC job in next 1-2 years.
RKK wasn't decisive with Brady. He tried to play it down the middle and it blew up in his face. This is Bill's last coaching job. Any next job is as a consultant/front office role.
And as an aside, employed and being unemployed is a binary outcome. RKK is decisive. He doesn't handicap length of tenure. You are either successful or you aren't.
Rainmaker would. What a surprise.I saw this early today by that scumbag. Didn’t think anyone on this board would actually promote this by posting the article.
I've made it clear before that I don't think Bill is on the hot seat.Rainmaker would. What a surprise.
If he's not then he should be. Hello RKK.I've made it clear before that I don't think Bill is on the hot seat.
I wanted to see what others thought.
Only possible way is if he loses the locker room and they finish with a really bad record. But even then, Robert is too old and won't want to put his faith in O'Brien or Mayo.If he's not then he should be. Hello RKK.
The "new Jaguars" made the playoffs last yearFiring Bill and hiring BOB or Mayo is a good way to become the new Jaguars.
It'll all come down to Mac Jones. If he improves off his best moments from his rookie season, and settles into the top 10-12 of QBs, then the team will be good enough otherwise to save BB's job. If Mac looks like he did last season, or only marginally better, then BB should be on thin ice because with the way their schedule is looking now, subpar QB play will mean 8 wins or less.Only possible way is if he loses the locker room and they finish with a really bad record. Yeah i meant be the dregs of the NFL until you get the quarterback, i'd love to know how and why Mac/Zappe + BOB or Mayo is in any way going to be a good operation. The "new Jaguars" made the playoffs last year
He is a football historian, mastermind of the game as a whole.. he was meant in life to teach, coach football and he's done that at it's apex.. it would be totally up to him of he wanted to continue his passion and pass Shula elsewhere..Why? Kraft had to trust his HC who thought that Brady was on the decline.RKK wasn't decisive with Brady. He tried to play it down the middle and it blew up in his face.
I think it's a legit question if Kraft still has the balls to fire BB.

Really? What franchise is bringing in Belichick for an all time wins ceremony? He is a football historian, mastermind of the game as a whole.. he was meant in life to teach, coach football and he's done that at it's apex.. it would be totally up to him of he wanted to continue his passion and pass Shula elsewhere..
Ultimately what happened was best for the franchise. Firing the best coach ever would not be.RKK wasn't decisive with Brady. He tried to play it down the middle and it blew up in his face.

Brady could have chosen to stay.Kraft had to trust his HC who thought that Brady was on the decline.
Either you let Brady go or BB goes.
There was no good move.
No child deserves that.Wasaaay past time for this “Tomase” wannabe to start covering a league he can handle - Pop Warner…..
