The in-game flopping penalty, which is in effect on a one-year trial basis, gives officials the ability to penalize players for a "physical act that reasonably appears to be intended to cause the officials to call a foul on another player" with a non-unsportsmanlike technical foul, the league explains. An official does not need to stop live play to call a flopping violation and can do so at the "next neutral opportunity," per the NBA. The result of the violation is one free throw for the opposing team.

I'm not a fan of hearing LeBron everytime he drives the paint asking for a foul instead of just being more aggressive.

But I think this hurts Jokic's game as he always is flopping.

like Tatum. Instead of getting back on D, he complains about a non foul call.

I think flopping and winning to get a foul shot or two has spoiled the game and will continue to do so and will degrade the true talent it must stop. Give the extra shot refs

BTW I don't think this is done by a minority of players I think it is done by the majority.
