Can we please come up with wager on this?“Josh Allen will never be elite” - The entire football watching world after year two
Allen has 129 TDs over the last 3 regular seasons. And 19 more in the postseason. That's nearly 50 TDs per year. Allen is the second best quarterback in the NFL today. He's elite.Still waiting on him to become elite
So in other words, Mac will remain an unknown for you.I'm of the opinion that you don't know who or what you're QB is unless he's back there performing at an average level while he's being rushed relentlessly deep in the playoffs.
Until then, you have no idea what you've got.
Allen needs to at least take the Bills to a Super Bowl to be elite.Still waiting on him to become elite
yeah, i do not want to hear this... We heard this all last off season... OTAs opened today, so what exactly has he been impressive doing? Its anonymous, so take it for what its worth, but I would be ecstatic if Mac took a huge leap forward this year.
Patriots Rumors: Why Players, Coaches Impressed By Mac Jones This Offseason
New England Patriots players and coaches reportedly are loving what they're seeing from quarterback Mac Jones this offseason.nesn.com
“Continued positive reviews from teammates/coaches who have been around Mac Jones the longest,” Giardi tweeted.
— “Confident. Leading like we know he can.”
— “Ready to remind you (media/fans) why he was a playoff QB in year one.”
— “Energized” by the change (Bill O’Brien as OC).
Hopefully Mac can prove why he was the 15th pick and that his rookie season wasnt a fluke.
Mac will never be the runner Allen is, but he could become a better passer and that matters more than running.lol so Mac Jones will be as good as Josh Allen in 2023? Can we please come up with wager on this?
I'm pretty sure that's not true at all. He wasn't a bad passer in 2019 and he had 9 rushing TDs. He led the NFL in 4th quarter comebacks and game-winning drives. From year one to year two he improved significantly. He got MVP votes in year three. He's got 17 TDs and 4 INTs in 8 playoff games. Anyone who may have declared Allen a bust after year two is a complete moron.Josh Allen was considered a universal bust after season two... that's a fact.
4 TD passes to Gabe Davis in the AFCCG wasn't good enough for you? Allen had the Bills 13 seconds away from the Super Bowl. The Bills defense epically choked.Allen needs to at least take the Bills to a Super Bowl to be elite.
You don't think, Captain Obvious.Mac will never be the runner Allen is
You're aware of Allen's arm strength? He's averaging 36 TD passes a season since his "bust" years. Who else is going to better than Allen next season?... Baker Mayfield? Davis Mills?but he could become a better passer
Neither is your opinionI don't care about anonymous sources. When I see Mac recognize a blitz overload or even looking for one, I will feel better. When I see him throw a 10 yard check down that is not at the feet of the receiver, I will feel better. When I see him recognize the one on one and release the ball on time, I will feel better. When I see him step up in the pocket instead of running out the back, I will feel better. I do want him to be successful. I'm a Patriot fan and I want the team to be successful. But anonymous sources aren't going to mean anything.

I’ve never met a non Jet fan who appeared as angry and disgusted about any positive comments about the Patriots as you do.I'm pretty sure that's not true at all. Well if he was actually doing that well, the source would not be an unnamed person...Impossible! According to Crawhammer, Mac Jones is the worst person on the face of the planet. He couldn't even redeem himself if he saved busload of kids from colliding with a truck carrying a load of kittens on their way to a veterans hospital.
X will never be elite, then they proceeded to not ever be elite. Most any Qb drafted into the NFL. I am not sure why if one person does something that means everyone else will too.“Josh Allen will never be elite” - The entire football watching world after year two
Great post.I don't care about anonymous sources. When I see Mac recognize a blitz overload or even looking for one, I will feel better. You're exaggerating. Besides that, you quoted a post where I merely suggested the idea of Mac becoming a better quarterback than Allen is ridiculous. Let's keep the bar at a realistic level.I’ve never met a non Jet fan who appeared as angry and disgusted about any positive comments about the Patriots as you do.
It seems you think it’s your lot in life to knock the life out of anything that is positive about the Patriots. Weird way to go through life.
In other news, NKeal Harry is working with a super elite training facility and is ready to make the jump.
Stop trying to pump this guy up. He's not that good and he's never going to be elite. The baseline talent isn't there. At best he can be a good quarterback who with an exceptional supporting cast could max out with 10 or 11 wins if everything goes right (he's not a 12-win QB like some homers are projecting). At this point he doesn't have the exceptional supporting cast, I'll give it a C+ or B- max, which would be fine with Mahomes, Allen or some other elite caliber quarterback.
We also heard the same exact reports on Mac last offseason. Which turned out to be bogus, unless you want to take the easy way out and just blame everything on Patricia (i.e. Belichick). Bill O'Brien is a good OC, should help, but I don't think he's the grand wizard some are making him out to be. Ultimately it's still mediocre Mac and his B- supporting cast that has to execute.
Not exaggerating at all. Any time there is a positive comment made about the Patriots you show up the stomp on it.You're exaggerating. Besides that, you quoted a post where I merely suggested the idea of Mac becoming a better quarterback than Allen is ridiculous. Let's keep the bar at a realistic level.
