You making up the contents of the Patriots offer is your counter, from somebody that hates reporting...This is richThe fact that they offered him more money than Tampa, and the fact that the guarantees were basically meaningless conflict with your agenda. The fact that he chose to leave, and would not give an answer about what it took to stay conflict with your agenda. The fact that he was negotiating with a division rival while under contract conflicts with your agenda.
Again, you saying the offer and money was no different, then why didnt the Patriots just offer him 2/53 fully gtd? Wil. you answer this?
I didnt say that, clearly he wanted guaranteed money over multiple years, to ensure he had a commitment from the team. You saying it was stupid for him to want that is not my problem. The patriots concern was structuring the deals so they could remain on top. If you are arguing Brady wanted to ensure he’s be paid for years after he could play, I just don’t believe you.
You dont like the contents of the book, so you read the last page.Your circular argument is that since Brady left and you think he didn’t want to despite every logical conclusion adding up to he chose to leave that whatever you invent as the reason was clearly why he left, because he left.
Out of touch, like skipping 2 years of his career and negotiations, or thinking none of the beat reporting is ever accurate, because you dont want it to be.Facts are he chose to leave.
In order to argue otherwise you have to enact all of the logically ignorant mental gymnastics so you can say “see I assume he left because if x and he left so x is true”.
I’m not sure what is funnier, how out of touch with reality you have stayed or the fact that you just keep digging a deeper hold because you must have the last word.
Entertaining at least. ,
