They could have picked Chargers, Broncos, Raiders, or even Bills and it would have been better. I can understand keeping the Bengals-Chiefs and Eagles-Chiefs games later in the season, but Lions is a terrible opening game.

It will be interesting to see how the Eagles and their fans handle a first place schedule instead of playing a bunch of JV teams like last season.
