I know nothing about the punters available. But if there is one who is considered a great prospect with a huge leg, I would have no problem taking him with the next pick.

Our Special Teams DID lose games for us last year.
Adam Korsak from Rutgers. Ray Guy award winner. Australian. Unorthodox technique is the only thing that gives me pause on the Pats taking him. But he’s on the list of options there.

You’re under the assumption that they actually HAVE a “draft board”. This draft shows no evidence they have any such thing.
I'm not trying to hate on anything. Not my nature. I'm truly just missing the logic on this one. Trading back from the higher rounds in a deep draft is understandable. But we already have soooo many picks.

trading a 4th for 2 later picks in the same draft? I'm not understanding the logic behind this. If there is nobody on their draft board worth picking at this point why trade for two lower picks? Maybe there's strength in numbers.
They have 4 picks in the 6th round and possessed none in the 5th before they traded back. Now they can pick in the 5th and or package some 6ths to move up. It was smart.

luke wypler still out there. Wonder why so many centers and guards have gone before him? Pretty obvious most teams don’t use the fans and draft experts resources. Still a lot of good names out there. Glad we have all those 6ths now. Thought they would be worthless.

It's about where they VALUE players. They could also be trying to trade picks into next year. Teams may be more likely to trade picks next year that are later in the draft.. Which is how the Pats got the 4 picks they have in the 6th round.

It's clear that the Pats have had trouble making trades for whatever reason. I mean, they supposedly were trying to move up in the 2nd and nothing panned out. Supposedly there were other trades that haven't panned out for them as well.
That makes sense.

With Haener and Tune gone I'm out on taking a QB

Sign me up then! A couple people had nice odds in the casino on the Pats drafting someone from Rutgers this weekend.

Give me Kuntz and the Rutgers punter, and I will be slap happy.

“could of”
when you see "Zappe Hour" just think of THIS cartoon character...

Someone like Josh Whyle would be nice here. Maybe Davis Allen.

I was surprised they went with Andrews over Wypler since Wypler is supposedly has a lot of experience in Zone Blocking. But I also didn't take into consideration the Popovich angle initially.

Training Camp is going to be interesting and fun.

Bit of a quarterback run going on now. Surprising to me that we haven't taken one yet.

He’s got stupid long arms and played well at RT tackle before. He struggled at LT but they don’t need him there.
IIRC they never played him at LT. They did have him at LG next to Wynn and he struggled there, although I don't know how much of that was on him.

There are already 3 on the roster. I guess you can get a camp arm or something.

So glad. Already have enough drama around here as it is.
I hear you, but it’s likely the NFL will decide to reimplement the 3rd QB rule this year. I figured we’d want a developmental guy for that rather than the current guy, but i guess they want someone with nfl experience there.

Ok lets get a WR...

Rakim Jarrett
Jadon Haselwood

Or we go back to defense and get the next poor man's Wilfork in Keondre Coburn!

Supposedly, they were going to take Haener if he'd fallen to them. *shrug*
