Patriots making calls about moving up in Round 2

Washington is to only one I would pay to move up for. Love Downs but at his size he is slot only and Schuster is there already.
Downs is not that special at least looking at film .

Michael Lombardi said based on his scoring (which Belichick uses) that Levis' ceiling is a back up.

You know the Falcons 3rd round QB Desmond Ridder? Lance Zierlein of the NFL Network has the same grade on Levis that he had on the Riddler.

Only thing is d hop doesn't mind altering his salary as he wants to go to a contender. Budda wants more money, something that definitely isn't going to happen here!
Looks like it did not happen, but there is a lot of cap space next year.. something $100 million +...
It was a good dream though..

I feel like the team has some buyers remorse from the Jonnu Smith and Agholor contracts.. plus next years cap space is likely used towards extending Dugger, owenu and likely picking up Mac's option. Also barmore they will have to decide on as well.

I think Rob's point was that Bill is not going to spend 8 picks in the 4th and 6th round and have all of those players make the roster. Those players plus their 2nd and 3rd and Gonzalez makes 11 players and there’s not 11 roster spots that a rookie, especially a 6th round rookie, is realistically going to take.
That is why I would love a ot and trade for a vet or a guy whose 5th year options was declined or will not get exercised maybe Patrick queen after the ravens selected simpson

It sucks that the Patriots were not able (or willing) to move up in the third and get Hyatt. The could really use a guy like that....

The Giants may have moved up ahead of the Pats just to make sure that NE doesn't get him...the pats were picking like 1 or 2 picks after

Tyler Scott is still available in the a Fourth a more well rounded player might be Faster too.

Maybe they were talking about Hotel floors?

The lower floors can get noisy with drunks stumbling around.

Fred there's a Harry Clone called Bryce Ford-Wheaton can get him in the Fourth or Sixth good value for a boundary Receiver.

It is shocking to me that they could get through the 2'd and 3'd without picking a WR or TE (or LT). And that they let Hyatt slip away to the Giants; didn't Groh say how important speed was to them, but not important enough to use one of their precious 4ths to move up; no cannot do that, gotta save those 4ths for long snappers and punters and lacrosse players and that WR from Princeton (actually, hmm).

It seems like the Patriots really whiffed in the third and maybe the second also. How can they go into the season without any new talent / legit weapons or protection for Mac? It is insane. The Patriots still have the about worst WRs in the league. No wonder Brady left.

Daniel Jeremiah loves Mapu and was ecstatic about the pick.

Here’s what other experts had to say: NFL experts weigh in on Pats drafting Marte Mapu in third round

Plenty of picks left for good offensive players.

Because he's that good your WR talent evaluation skills is not on par with mines DB.
ROFLMAO. Dude, that's the most laughable thing you've ever posted.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton isn't a "Harry Close". And you claim your skills are better than anyone else?

They've got between $100M-$120M in cap space next year. Picking up the 5th year option doesn't affect next year's cap. It affects 2025. The Pats could extend Dugger, Onwenu, Judon and Barmore and still have $80-100M in cap space.

Thanks for that clarification on the cap space.. well I'm assuming they will use it like they always have to improve and pay players..
