Ah Jesus dude I know you don’t like me but you didn’t have to give me AIDS with such horrific memes. My god. ****ing war crimes. You should be tried at The Hague for that **** Jesus.

Even the haters admit Bill is the best when it comes to coaching up corners. They end up with the #1 guy? At 17? This is a huge win for the Pats.

I still think Witherspoon was the best corner in the draft right now, but Gonzalez has a higher ceiling, and Belichick is great coaching up corners. He was even able to take a bum like Asante Samuel and turn him into a very good cornerback.

Bro...

I had Witherspoon, Porter and then Gonzales. I wouldn’t of minded any of the 3 and we got one. Doesn’t make me a leper. It’s easy to get behind Gonzo with his athletism and ofcourse I hope he is the best of this class. Probably let my disdain of the Pac12 cloud my rankings.

Thats how many playoff games the Pats are winning this season too.

Offense is the obviuos issue. so the Pats draft defense.
Do we win a playoff game if we draft JGB or Flowers instead? Not likely.

Do we make the playoffs if we draft JGB or Flowers instead? Not likely.

Do we have a better shot of making the playoffs if we shore up the defense? Yes. If we have a shutdown corner we might beat Buffalo and Minnesota, and we're looking at a 10 - 7 team (a 10 - 7 team that gets its butts kicked by Buffalo in the wild card round, but a 10 - 7 team nonetheless).

I don't dislike you, stop flattering yourself. However ...

You might be right but CB was clearly a need. We’ll see.

The Pats have 10 more picks in this draft.

I suspect this pick could help free up Marcus for an expanded offensive role.

Almost all of the FAs they signed were on offense.

Why did Gonzalez look miserable coming here.

He was thinking of all the money he lost, im sure his agent had him thinking he would go top 10

he probably lost over 10 million dollars

dont think it has anything to do with the Patriots

My wife is from Colombia and has never really been a fan of the Patriots or football in general (she's very into soccer, though).

I think I finally have the ammo to convert her once and for all.

Can anyone identify these guys beyond Bill, Kraft and Barry?
Matt Groh is the guy with the suit and tie. Berj Najarian makes the call. I think Camryn Williams is the guy with the glasses.

This team severely lacks blue chippers and they went out and got a blue chip prospect at a position to need, to boot. They didn't have a prototypical perimeter corner on the roster and now they do. Sky high value + positional need = excellent pick. Gonzalez was my "pie in the sky" scenario for this draft, to get him after trading down is ridiculous. Sure, the offense needs a lot of adding to, but right now they just need to get guys with elite upside, and Gonzalez's is higher than any receiver's.

There's a reason he came up as a CB and not a WR. His hands or route running probably aren't the best. He's succeeded in a very limited role but if you expand that, you'll see the flaws in his game.

You might be right but he’s electric when he’s on the field. I’m not talking about 50 plays a game. BOB could get him 5-6 touches a game, though.

Who plays LT this year?

Agreed. Also Strange is not going to play left tackle and Onwenu is not going to play right tackle, except in emergencies.

Bill Belichick does it again. He continues the absolute roll he has been on in recent drafts.
