I think Payton doesn’t want to move him but will for premium picks.

Moore going from Jersey to Cleveland.

Just looking at the way the draft is trending, it looks like #14 will be the spot to take one of Joey Porter, Devon Witherspoon, Christian Gonzalez, Broderick Jones, Paris Johnson or Peter Skoronski. One of these 6 players will be there, and they all project as the type of player you'd find normally in the top 10 of any recent draft.

Thing is, all 6 may be gone by #15, so we may be seeing a draft that is really only 14 players deep in terms of PREMIUM players, and even then that's only the case because teams are overrating the 4 QBs.
Hopefully not Skoronski. Pretty sure he's going to end up at guard in the pros.

The Chiefs losing Juju and Hardman is definitely interesting. They must have some plan to upgrade at wide receiver because that cupboard was pretty bare already. If it’s OBJ I’ll laugh at them.

JuJu's replacement is already there with Kadaris Toney, and Hardman has not given them very much production over 4 years anyway.

They've never really had anyone opposite Hill, so he's had plenty of opportunity.

They won’t pay D-Hop unless it’s on a very team friendly deal which is a possibly as the Chiefs are contenders. Maybe a 2nd (63) and 5th (166)

Juedy I can see them giving up their 1st (31) he’s cheap.

I can also possibly see the Jets interested in one or the other.

Is this because of his arm length? He reminds me of Matt Light, who had short arms but was a top notch left tackle for the Pats. I expect him to be long gone by 14 if he was there I would happy for them to draft him and play him at LT.

Moore and a 3rd in exchange for a 2nd is a good deal. Moving down from the 2nd to the 3rd is equivalent in value to what… like… a 4th? Something like that?

Cleveland is out of the Jeudy sweepstakes now, one would imagine. The market for suitors for Jeudy is dwindling. This probably also further cements the need for a Hopkins deal to be cheap.

I’m guessing Bill has said “2nd and a 4th for Jeudy” and the Broncos said “we want more or we’ll keep him.” And Bill said OK well let me know soon or I’ll just trade for Hopkins instead or sign OBJ. Hence why there are news articles about the price Bill is offering for Jeudy. Question now becomes whether Denver actually will keep him or if they’re bluffing. I think they’re bluffing, they need picks (and cheap rookies) in a bad way.

I think they are just looking to see if they can get a 1st+. Contract is great and the 5th year option is 12.5m. If I am the broncos I’m not taking a 2nd and a 4th. I also don’t think that’s what the Pats offered I would be very surprised if Juedy is moved at all less a 1st+ 2nd+roster player. They definitely aren’t going to take on money IMO.

Toney is not a replacement for juju until he proves that he can be a replacement for juju. Thus far in his career he has shown virtually nothing. Plus, they are very different players. Toney brings none of the physicality and blocking skills that juju gave them. He obviously offers the potential for more explosive plays but, again, has never done that on even an inconsistent basis during his first two years.

What? Who is trading a 1st PLUS a 2nd PLUS a player for a WR who hasn't cracked 1000 yards in a season yet and only has 1 year on their contract plus their guaranteed 5th year option left? He's a solid player but he's not worth that. The Pats could use their own 2nd, trade a player for a pick and use that pick to trade up in the 1st round into the single digits and draft any WR they want in this draft and have him for 5 years.

It's not just about value, it's about the fact that Denver needs picks badly. They only have 5 picks in this draft, and their highest pick is a 3rd rounder. They don't have a 1st or 2nd rounder. They have $6M in projected cap space in 2024 with only 37 players rostered. In comparison, New England has $131M in projected cap space with 36 players rostered. Denver needs rookies, and they need rookies who can start, so they need picks in the first few rounds, and they need several of them. Holding onto Jeudy for his last year because you wanted a 1st and could only get a 2nd and a 4th is not smart business. They probably won't pick up his 5th year option because they can't afford to.

Look who his QBs have been.

Drew Lock
Brett Rypien
Jeff Driscoll
Teddy Bridgwater
Russel Wilson

He’s absolutely worth the asking price if that’s what the Broncos are asking. Aside from 2021 with only playing 10 games.

This... Denver needs it more badly than us. I would not even part the 2nd now. Let them run with Jeudy. He is a WR2 now who has potential to be Wr1.

We are talking as if he is on stefon diggs level.wr 2 are getting 11 -14 million. He could be similar to Brandin cooks on a bad team . We need to add ancillary pieces around him. Jeudy is not going to be uncoverable like diggs or chase or Hopkins. Or at least he hasn't showed us that . And I am sure Denver also has that doubt .
