Hardman has game breaking speed I think his ceiling is higher than he’s shown.
I Just want a passing game people have to respect.
I got all my eggs in the Jeudy basket.
You've wanted every WR that's been either a FA, rumored to be available, is available via trade, possibly might be available, liked a random tweet on twitter or otherwise could fog a mirror. C'mon man.

Jets will likely have to get rid of a receiver or two.

But why? He's as mediocre as they come.
He's a solid number 2 and was on a team where Kelce (and before him Kelce and Hill) were higher priority targets... along with just an overall deep WR room. Dude is a very good extra set of hands and can absolutely go off for a game. He's not going to be the number 1 we need, but he could easily get us off some of the mediocre 3's we have

Problem is he's had 4 years in a really well run offense and hasn't really broken out yet. And this isn't an Edelman type player, where he was drafted in the 7th round and was changing position, Hardman was a 2nd round pick who had potential right off the bat.

If you want a 2nd round WR with game breaking speed who at least still has room to grow, they've already got Tyquan Thornton.

John Ross and Henry Ruggs say hello. Speed is not a guarantee to be a great WR. There were great expectations when Chiefs had selected him, but he was just a serviceable 3rd receiver.
However we will see what role he gets in Jets.

Boys... if he was so good, at 6.5m KC woulda kept him. He was deemed expendable even though he moved up the depth chart with JuJu leaving. That should say a lot IMO.

And that $6.5 million is pretty misleading since he likely won't come close to making that much since he's going to be, at best, the No. 3 receiver for the Jets.

KC has a deep passing corp. You could say the same about the WR we just got from them. They also are clearing cap.

Mahomes can make practically any WR look really good. He couldn't make Hardman look good. KC won the Super Bowl somehow with an island of unwanted toys.

Granted Kelce is fantastic, but the rest are a bunch of castoffs, unwanted injureds, and havent done anythings.

This can work for or against a player though, depending on the player and the circumstance. Yes, he wouldn't get the volume of targets he would if he were the #1 option, but he's also getting matched up against #2 (or often 3) CB's, and while Hill/Kelce where there was likely not getting a lot of safety attention, despite his speed. I know he wouldn't be coming here hypothetically to be a #1 either, but I don't think you can just extrapolate his production out linearly with an increase in targets, because the difficulty of those targets would likely increase as well.

Hardman is likely coming in to replace Berrios. Kick/punt returner, WR depth at WR 4/5, plus an occasional weapon on sweeps and other desined plays.

He’s definitely not a 2

Lol I was initially go on a rant about how the Browns need to stop screwing up that market giving up a 2nd for Moore. But then I saw they did get that 3rd back. What would that be equal to value wise?
