I wonder if the signing of Robinson means tat the Pats don't figure to be players at RB in the draft?

I still think they may be in the market for a 3rd down back, depending on Strong’s trajectory.

Chase Brown from Illinois is one to keep an eye on. I’d also put Blake Corum in that conversation save for the fact he’s returning to Michigan in 2023.

James Robinson will be that if Strong isn't.

I think Strong could be a real player with big play ability> i liked what i saw of him last year and i hope this doesn't take snaps away from him. A 1-2 of strong/stevenson could be great.

Of course highlight films always show the best of the good stuff, but what I saw on that looked pretty good. Shifty with speed and power and able to catch in space and run through contact. I’d love to see some sets with JR and Rham in the backfield together, maybe something like a wishbone with Strong at FB and see what the defense does with that?

does this mean bb thinks k Harris and strong are busts?

No. Belichick always loads up positions prior to training camp. I have seen them with over 8 RB’s and over 10 WR’s heading into camp on a regular basis.

Seriously I wish lowlights were a thing to get an overall assessment of a player.

It means that Strong's playing time isn't guaranteed. He's going to need to beat out this James Robinson guy to earn offensive snaps.
We now know of course know that this signing is pretty much D. Harris replacement.. I feel the team knew they wouldn't he resigning harris.. BB always said availability is the best ability a player can have..

Players today have it so much better than players of the past.. ACL/MCL injuries and or hamstrings were career altering injuries years ago. I like the Robinson signing.. he's not brought in to Be a lead back.. he is a bull dozer can catch out the backfield.. he can give rham some rest when needed.. I like strong Jr. In that James white role.. he showed glimpses last season that he can be such

The younger crowd will need to Google this one..

On a loosely related note, Tony Nelson has got to be one of the top 5 luckiest fictional people in TV... and he just didn't take advantage of it - which probably made for good TV.
